TW: Blood

Pete runs his hands through his hair.

Luke's eyes flicker over to him. "It's okay. We're going to find him and bring him back safely."

"I'm just scared if he got caught in the rain or something..." Pete shakes his head and leans back.

"It's okay."

"Let's just go to the station and get some people to help. I'm scared for him." Pete rubs his eyes.

"Of course. We have pretty much all the notes and we've got a lot of officers to help."

Pete watches the rain run down the window. He grips the seat in hopes to bite back his irritation. He pulls out his phone and calls Patrick again.

5 rings.
Voicemail.

"FUCK." Pete screams, throwing his phone onto the car floor.

Luke looks over nervously. "It's alright, Pete. It's alright. We're going to figure this out."

Pete nods slowly. He watches the signs blow by, reading them to keep his sanity.

Pete recognizes the area and knows the station is within a few miles. He looks to Luke who grips the wheel with white knuckles. He's just as worried, it makes Pete feel a little better someone shares his feelings.

Luke's eyes narrow as he blows by the first left leading to the station.

"You taking a different way?" Pete sits up a little.

Luke doesn't answer.

"Luke?"

Luke doesn't move.

Pete shuts his mouth. He knows there's another left turn ahead that could lead to the station as well.

"Switch lanes, you can get to the station that way." Pete points to the left.

Luke takes a sharp right turn.

"Luke! You're going the wrong fucking way!" Pete cries.

"Calm down, Pete." Luke hisses.

"LUKE! GO TO THE FUCKING STATION!"

Luke doesn't answer at all. He continues down the road.

It's getting more secluded by the minute.

Buildings disappear slowly.

Trees disappear slowly.

Cars disappear slowly.

The more things that disappear, the louder Pete gets. He screams at Luke in anger. Then he starts to beg.

"Please, Luke. I don't know where you're going but I want to fucking get Patrick in my arms."

Nothing.
