So I'd managed to convince people to help me with my plan. Eddie and Mia were going to help. Christian wouldn't let me go alone, no matter how stupid of an idea he thought it was. So there would be 4 of us to take on 2 strigoi. 2 strigoi that used to be our friends. "Right we go tomorrow. Before they move on and we miss them." They all sat there astonished. "We aren't even remotely ready..." Mia said in outrage. "I'm not forcing you to help. I'm telling you what I'm doing, it's up to you whether or not you help. Either way I'm going!" They all sighed collectively.

So we talked strategy for most of the afternoon. We were going to leave at lunch time. So by the time we got to there it will be daylight out. One advantage for us, if anything went wrong. It was rumored that they were in Missoula. Which is about a 5 hour drive from the academy. We didn't have an exact address, but I'm sure we can find them. I'd organised a rental car to be dropped at the academy, so it's ready for us tomorrow. I'd heard from Rose once since it all happened, she'd sent me a text from a random phone, maybe her new one? It read:
Oh Lis, I don't need the bond to know you're still crying about me. Well stop being pathetic. I'm living it up. Life, well death is great! It's weird being on the other side of the fangs, but honestly it's great. It'd be great to see you again some time soon, we have much to catch up on. I'll give you the in on our new lifestyle! Xoxo Lost Love Bitch.

Reading it made me feel sick, but I know it's not really her. With the hopes of a response, I text it again today. I sent:
Hey Rose, I'm taking you up on that offer for a catch up. Give me a time and a place and I'll be there. I miss you too much, I have to see you. Besides I have news you and Dimitri will both enjoy, either that or you can cross another off the list.
Lis.

I had been waiting all day for a response. Everytime someone's phone went off I'd go rigid and hastily check my phone. Then finally it was her. She replied:
Oh Lis, so needy as usual. But hey good news, I'm not far away. I'm sure you've already figured that out though, we have been kicking up quite a storm! You're not as stupid as some people think you are, which is a shame really. Anyhow, Missoula, stop by for dinner one night. Be quick, we're almost at our limit for feasts here haha! Xoxo Bitch.
Ps. Bring as many bodies as you wish, the more the merrier!

That message made my skin crawl. I must remember it's not her though. I swallowed back some tears. "Ah hey guys... They ARE in Missoula." I said quietly, but it quickly hushed the others. "She text you back?" Christian asked shocked. I just nodded. It was final we were going to Missoula. But we weren't going tomorrow. "We're going today." I blurted out. Everyone almost choked on their breaths. "What? No that's crazy." Eddie piped in. I shook my head. "No we have to. She wouldn't expect us to come this soon. We have the upper hand. We need to use it." After much discussing I got them all on board. It was just after lunch for us, so we could easily make it there by sunrise.

I had rung ahead and put a rush on the car. It was being brought over immediately, which was great. So we made our daring escape. We were just about at the gate when another figure joined us. Freaking out we all stopped, only to find Adrian. "Hey?" He gave a slight nod. "I'll help. But I'm not doing this for you, I'm doing it in the hopes I'll get Rose for myself when she's better." He always talked strangely when it came to Rose and Dimitri, and I could never figure out why. I think he just envied her awe over Dimitri, he really is a god, I've seen him in action. So we continued our escape. We reached the front gates to the school, then I got my compulsion on and got us let out. The car turned up shortly after, then we were on the road. It was a quiet, and packed car ride. Christian drove, and I was in the passenger seat. Leaving Eddie, Mia and Adrian in the back seat. The drive seemed to go on forever, then we finally made it to Missoula.

We had made good time getting there. It was not quite dawn when we arrived. So we decided to go to a cafe and get coffee while we thought of our plan of attack. We still didn't know exactly where they were, only that they're here somewhere. We were driving down a random street looking for a cafe, when she appeared... Christian slammed on the breaks, causing much discomfort for us all. She stopped right in front of the car and just stood there with a sickening and dark smile. Then we seen it, the red rings in her eyes. Indicating that she was indeed a strigoi. Rose was no longer our Rose. Then he appeared too. They were still together. Well I guess that's a good thing.
