I wake up to Loki yelling at me, his hands on my shoulder. I shudder from his touch, though I don't know why.

"Get the hell away from me," I growl.

He complies, shrinking back to his side of the bed.

....

"Guys," I say, "Can you please, please, let me off of Loki-duty?"

"Loki-duty," Loki scoffs, back to the handcuffs.

Natasha smiles. "But you were so excited to get him yesterday."

That's cause I thought I could kill the bastard in his sleep.

"You couldn't have," Loki mutters, and I groan, forgetting I can't do shit with a fucking god searching through my thoughts.

Clint sympathized with me. "I'm sorry, but you're the best for the job of Loki-duty. I can't stand to be around him after last year, and Natasha would just break his neck within five minutes."

"Natasha, do you have no patience?" I ask sarcastically and she replies, "I'm the assassin, not the babysitter."

Loki raises an eyebrow, hearing the thoughts in my head, and I open my mouth, but Loki interrupts.

"Excuse me, darling," Loki says, leaning in towards me. "But you are in charge of me, and I do believe it is time for lunch."

I bite my lip, knowing why he interrupted. Make him lunch. Maybe I could poison it too.

"I guess I'll have to make my own lunch," Loki sighs.

We walk into the grocery store and I quickly buy some sandwich supplies.

We get back to the police car and I dump the stuff over the back of the trunk. I quickly make sandwiches for Clint and Natasha.

I nod to Loki. "You wanted to make your own?"

He nods slightly, jaw tight.

While I give Natasha and Clint their sandwiches, I look back at Loki.

Oh god...I don't think he learned how to make sandwiches during the Invasion.

Loki struggles, putting the bologna on one side of the bread and the cheese on the other. He clearly has no idea where to put the other piece of bread. I wouldn't either if i made my sandwich like that.

"Loki," I say, coming up beside him. "Do you need help?"

"No, you insufferable mortal. I'm a god, a worthy king. I can figure this out on my own." He continues to frown at the hopeless thing he calls food.

I smirk. "Well, worthy king, I can tell you're hungry and this will help if you fix it right."

Loki puts the sandwich down and I take it in my hands. I fix it up and ask, "You want anything? Ketchup? Mayonaise?"

"What's mayonnaise?" Loki asks and I chuckle. I grab the bottle of mayo and gesture for Loki to give me his hand.

He looks at me confused, but shows me his palm. I take his hand in mine, palms up, and with the other hand i grab the bottle and pour a bit of mayo on his finger.

His hands are really soft...

Loki smiles, and I say, "lick it up,"

He licks his finger in the most sexiest way, and I stand there for a second wondering how someone could do that so sexy.

"Ew," he scrunches his face up, and I laugh from his expression. "It tastes horrible."

"It does, doesn't it?" I say, agreeing.

....

"Are we there yet?" I ask, and Clint replies, "4 more hours."

I sigh and look at Loki. It looks as though he's asleep.

I don't know how, but sleep always changes people's appearances. Loki looks so happy, as if he didn't have a care in the world. He almost looks like a different man. He looks...beautiful.

Ugh. I groan. You know what this man has done. Stop with those thoughts.

I still can't forget what happened with my father. Shit, I think as I dive into a mini flash back.

....

A man walked down the stairs, staff in his hands. I stare at him.

He looks remotely gorgeous, long black hair flowing to his shoulders, looking gelled back. I can see his brilliant green eyes shining all the way from here.

He looks in my direction, and for a second I can swear he's looking at me. He smirks, and then he gets to the bottom of the stairs.

....

I pull myself out of the memory, and I breathe heavily. Shit, shit...

"I can help with that."

I jump up, hearing Loki's voice. Isn't he asleep?

He looks asleep, but I can hear him talking...

"Insufferable mortal. I'm talking to you telepathically. You know, through-"

"My mind, yes, I know what telepathically means." I say out loud. Natasha and Clint can't hear me, they put the soundproof window down separating the front and back seats. "Why can't you just talk to me out loud? They can't hear us."

"I don't want to take any chances, darling." I hear.

"Anyways, the reason I even invaded your mind in the first place. I want to help you."

"Help with what?"

"To get rid of that memory. It'd be great for both of us if you did forget."

I can't ever forget how you murdered-

"I can hear your thoughts too."

I sigh. "Continue."

"I'll help you move on, if you help me get away from Thor."

I frown. "Away from Thor? Why?"

"Well, ah...Thor thinks me dead. And I'd like to keep it that way. I have... arrangements on Asgard that I don't need him to ruin."

I think it over. To be able to not have flashbacks out of nowhere... something I'd been hoping for for a year now. Does it matter that in turn I'll forgive Loki? By not even remembering he did it?

I sigh. "What would you have me do?"

....

a/n hey, um, I just heard that Marvel is coming up with a solo Black Widow movie? In 2015? I think I might die of fangirling. Help? Fangirl alert? Is this true?

And if so, then when the hell is a solo Loki movie coming out?
