I grab the back of his armor, lifting him up. He balances with one knee up, one knee down, in a proposal stance.
I bend down, look Loki straight in the eye and smirk, jeering at him. "Kneel."
....
Thor, Loki, Sif, and I walk down all the halls, just wandering for the moment.
Thor and Sif are ahead, talking about different war strategies and all that nonsense. I understand it, but I just don't care.
So thus, being uninterested in the conversation, I decided to stay with Loki.
"The moon looks beautiful tonight." Loki mutters quietly. Thank God him and I are about 15 feet behind Thor or else I wouldn't have heard him.
I nod. "It is. You know, I traveled a lot back on Earth, or Midgard. And I would always notice that your thumb was always bigger than the moon no matter where you stood."
Loki looked at me confused. "I haven't the slightest idea what you mean."
"Look, Loki." I drag him to the outskirts of the hallway, so we can be able to see the moon.
"All you gotta do is raise your arm, hold up your thumb, and close one eye." I instructed.
Loki did as I said, and it took him a second...
"My thumb is bigger than the moon! Do you think I could possibly rule it if it's that small?" he says, excited like a five year old when they get candy.
I laugh. "You're already on the verge of being the next king of Asgard, do you really need the moon?"
Loki looked as if he was deep in thought. Then, he just said, "I'll save that idea for another day then."
I chuckle. Loki is just...adorable.
We continue to walk, but by now, we've lost Thor and Sif. I look at Loki and he looks at me. His green eyes look silver-ish in the moon and after our fight, strands of hair have fallen into the way of his face. It makes him look...content.
He raises an eyebrow. "Be careful, if you don't close your mouth soon enough, you'll get flies in it."
I snort. "Oh please, I wouldn't wanna check you out. Kings aren't my type. No, wait, you're not my type."
"I came out to have a good time and I'm honestly feeling so attacked right now." Loki says with false hurt in his voice.
"I'm sorry for hurting the prince's feelings," I mock, sticking my tongue out at him.
At the gesture, he bites his lip slightly, but I ignore it.
"So," he says. "Do you need anything? Clothes?"
"Um," I frown for a second, thinking of what I could want. "Can I just go back to Midgard to get some of my stuff? I mean, I love it here, but you know, just some books."
Loki shakes his head. "I'm afraid you can't go, but I'll send Thor. He can get your stuff for you. Plus, he's been dying to go back to go see his girlfriend."
"Thor has a girlfriend?" I say, completely shocked. "Well, that's one lucky bitch." I comment, thinking of Thor's muscles and manliness and sexiness.
Loki frowns for a second at my comment, but gets rid of it quick. He then proposes another offer at a job. "Have you been thinking of being a guard?"
I smile. Maybe it wouldn't be such a bad idea. I mean, it'd give me something to do, my fighting skills wouldn't go to waste, and I would be protecting either Thor or Loki. Either would be fine, seeing as they're both fucking hot. There really is no down side to this.
"Alright..." I agree quietly, giving in to Loki.
He smiles. "Great! You start tomorrow!"
"Uh, what? Loki, no one is even on the throne yet-"
"Actually, I am. You see, I've been Thor's back-up to being king, and seeing as Thor will not take the throne, the responsibility of Asgard is handed to me." Loki smiles smugly.
I smile back. "I see, my king." I kneel for half a second, then get back up.
Loki smiles. "Those are words I won't get tired of hearing."
