Loki's Throne

Ch. 22

He smiles and buries his head into my neck, moving his lips onto my skin. "And there's no possible way I could make you?"

"Make me what?" I ask. "Cheat? I'm pretty sure there is."

Loki just smiles. "I would never be one to do that though. Fandral is an acquaintance of mine."

I could feel myself on the edge of sleep. "If you needed help, alcohol wouldn't hurt."

....

Fandral and I walk hand in hand back to the castle. We had just celebrated our third month anniversary by having our own party in the forest. (Interpret that how you will)

I was pretty proud of myself. I had trouble committing myself to relationships, but I felt I was doing good.

"Seeing as it is late and not safe for a lady like yourself to walk alone, I will walk you to Loki's room." Fandral suggests.

"Fine by me," I say.

We walk in silence until Fandral pops the question, "Why do you sleep in Loki's room?"

I answer in a dead tone, "The PA has to be with their person at all times. At least that's how Loki explained it to me."

"That's not true at all." Fandral contradicts.

"it's not?" I ask, shocked. Was Loki being a perv and just making me sleep with him for the hell of it?

"Well, I'll just have to speak to him," I say.

We arrive at Loki's room, and Fandral pulls me close and kisses me. I kiss back passionately, but I notice Loki in the back of my mind. I kiss Fandral harder, trying to drive Loki out.

"Could you move? I have to get into my room," Loki says sarcastically.

I jump away from Fandral, embarrassed. "Sorry, my King."

I wave bye at Fandral, opening the door and disappearing into the room with Loki.

*Loki's P.O.V.*

Alex strips out of her armor as I get onto my bed. I watch her without her knowing. God her curves and her physique are amazing.

"So, Loki," Alex says, her back to me as she puts on PJs. I'm taking my shirt off, replacing my pants with shorts.

"Yes, Avenger?" I reply in a monotone voice. I use magic to start a fire, which attacked the winter.

"When were you gonna tell me there was no need to sleep with you in your bed?"

I stay silent before coming up with a lie. "I told you at the beginning, I need you here to help soothe my nightmares."

Alex gets in the bed with me, placing her hips in mine, straddling me. "And is that the only reason?"

My mouth is going dry. Her tank top is showing her boobs off and her hands rub slightly on my chest.

"Uhh...." I say stupidly.

Alex just smiles. "It's okay, I'm just fucking with you, I'm chill with sleeping in your bed."

She gets off of me and cuddles into me. I turn on my side, holding her waist. She tucks her head into the crook of my neck and I smile against her cheek.

"Goodnight. And don't play with me like that again. Next time, I'll do something about it."
