"Sif-"

"I swear. I won't tell a soul."

"So, brother," Thor said as we walk the halls, towards the courtyard.

We had just gone to the throne room, cleaning my blood off the floor. Thor, hearing my story, had said no more, and had just helped me in silence.

But now, as him and I made our way to the courtyard, Thor was not silent at all.

"Brother, I saw you looking at that mortal." He said, smiling a little bit.

I skipped as I walked. "You mean Alex? Did you see her?"

"Yes I did." Thor said, smiling wide at my reaction. "Oh, does my little brother have a crush?"

I skipped to where I was ahead of Thor and turned around to look at him. "Could you blame me if I did?" I yelled, smiling ear to ear. Thor smiled at me, blue eyes gleaming.

Sif and I arrived at the courtyard, looking around. No one was here, which was probably unusual, but Sif just seemed happier we were alone.

I looked around carefully, assuming this was the place we would practice fighting. The ground was flat, but made of dirt, with a few patches of grass. There was a few tables and chairs, a few benches, and a golden fountain in the middle of the courtyard. It was semi-hot, but even when it was Texas-weather, my suit kept me cool. If the clouds said something also, it was probably going to rain. Was Thor upset? Oh, yeah. His dad died and his brother got stabbed.

"So," Sif said. "You ready?" She stood tall and strong in her armor, gripping her sword, which had a 3ft. long steel blade.

I smile, getting my knife (ignoring my gun), and say, "Let's do this."

Sif charges and I wonder for half a second if choosing a knife was the smartest idea. But as Sif thrusts out with her sword arm, aiming towards my chest, I duck, using my legs to drag me foward, and I grab Sif's leg with my hand.

When I got far out with my slide I pushed myself up to a stand, while Sif fell behind me. I turned around, smirking.

"Wanna try that again?" I said innocently.

"Damn," I sighed, watching Sif get her ass kicked. Thor beside me chuckled. We had decided to stay a bit hidden as to where we wouldn't distract Alex or Sif, but Sif really doesn't need a distraction. She sucks compared to Alex.

"This is humiliating," Thor said for Sif. I chuckled. "Nice to see her struggling."

"Now, brother-"

"Don't brother me, Thor." I snap, interrupting him. "Me and Sif, we obviously don't get along. You can't say you blame me for finding this entertaining."

Thor looked at me and back to the courtyard. "You should try harder to get along with people, brother. If I'm not here, who will protect you?"

I smirk, an idea coming to my mind. Thor looks at me, then grabs my shoulder. "No, no, no, no, no, I know that face."

"It's a great idea," I say, walking out of Thor's grip, heading to the courtyard.

Thor yells, "Loki, stop. It's madness."

I turn around and laugh, before saying "Is it madness? Is it?"

Thor just frowns, not getting the reference.
