I think it over. To be able to not have flashbacks out of nowhere... something I'd been hoping for for a year now. Does it matter that in turn I'll forgive Loki? By not even remembering he did it?

I sigh. "What would you have me do?"

....

"Can you help me with something Tony?" I ask.

Tony looks up at me from his computer. "Why sure, kiddo. What you need?"

I smile. "Oh, nothing really. Just need to get past S.H.I.E.L.D.'s firewalls and hack into the data bases. Nothing much."

Tony smiles. "Well, you've come to the right place, kid. Did I ever tell you about how I fixed Stark Tower to run on its own self made energy?"

I smirk. "If I've heard the story once, I've heard it a million times."

I sit by Stark, looking at his computer, observing how easy he gets past the firewalls.

"Alright Alex, why do have me doing this? Gonna look yourself up?" Stark questions.

"Actually..." I mess with my fingers. "I need to make a few corrections."

"To what?"

"Look up Reindeer Games."

"Loki? What corrections are you making exactly?"

I smirk. "Just do it." Tony complies, hearing my voice turn bossy, knowing if he doesn't listen, there'll be trouble.

"Alright, Alex, there's Loki's info. What do you wish me to do with it?"

"Delete it." I instruct. Tony looks questionably at me. I don't blame him. "Please. I need to do this. Trust me."

"You're not gonna help him take over New York, are you?"

I laugh. "I wouldn't help that monster murder more innocents."

Tony looks back at the screen and starts to erase Loki's information from the computers.

"Done. Hope you know what you're doing."

"I do. Thank you, Tony," I say, hugging him.

"Yeah, yeah, now go get me a scotch." Tony smiles wide.

....

"I'm sorry, Steve." I say.

Rodgers looks at me with pained eyes. "If you get caught-"

"It doesn't matter," I say, determined. "I need to do this. I need to get rid of that memory."

Steve bites his lip. "Is that the only reason you're helping him?"

I gasp. "Cap!"

"Is it?" He says, gritting his teeth.

"If you're assuming I have a crush on the God of Mischief, I...honestly couldn't tell you."

"What do you mean?" Cap asks, frowning.

"Its like, under any other circumstances, I'd like him, but because he killed my father, I feel like I can't. it's like I'm having a civil war with myself every time I'm near him."

Rodgers nods. "I understand."

He stands up and looks back at me. "I trust you. But after this, if we ever meet again, I won't be so trusting."

I hold back my tears.

"I...I understand."

....

"I've done it," I say as I enter Loki's prison glass box.

He stands, turning around to see me. "Good job, pet."

"Shut up with your names and keep your end of the bargain," I say, getting tired of his antics.

Loki chuckles. "Oh, darling, you're not finished."

I mutter, "No, I'm not." I look back up at Loki. "What else would you like of me?"

He stands only a few inches away, or foreheads only touching because of my heels.

"Kneel."

"Not to men like you." I retort.

"There are no men like me," He smiles.

"That's true. I've never met someone who's as much of a monster as you."

And then I feel something hard  against my cheek and I fall to the ground.

"Shut the fuck up and do your job, bitch," Loki says maliciously.

I stand up, with half a mind to kill him, but I walk out.

....

Make a distraction. This shouldn't be hard. I think as Bruce and I sit, playing Monopoly.

I can do this, I think.

Bruce yells. "WHAT? How do I owe you $500?"

"Um, you landed on some property I own..." I explain, calmly.

This is a bad idea. If I survive, I will kill Loki.

I knew Banner wouldn't let the Other Guy come out with just a game of Monopoly, but agitation with a little bit of shock would make the perfect recipe.

"I'm sorry," I say, referencing to what I'm about to do, but Bruce doesn't get it.

He rolls the dice and goes again.

He landed on my property again, and as he yelled, under the table, I shot  my gun.

Shit....holy mother fucking shit, what did I do? I think as I run out the room, and the Hulk yells in rage behind me.

....

"Loki," I pant.

"Good job," Loki says, hands on the door to his cage. I unlock it quickly as I hear people screaming.

Loki comes out, and says, "What about the cameras?"

"Tony's working on it, c'mon, we don't have much time!" I tell over the sound of destruction coming from the Hulk.

I grab his hand and we run toward the exit of these headquarters, but I barely know the way myself.

"Um, I think it's this way," I say, frowning, and Loki looks at me.

"What in the hell do you mean, you think?"

"I mean, I've only been in this HQ for a day, I don't have a fucking map of it memorized." I retort.

Loki grabs my arm. "Darling, I'm gonna need you to hold on."

I look at him before hearing, "And where do you think you're going?"

I turn to see Fury behind us. "Uh-"

"Bye." Loki smiles at Fury as we teleport out of S.H.I.E.L.D, HQ.
