Dean Clarke
Talia, Bella, and I were putting up the Christmas tree as a family and it made me happy to know that Bella's first Christmas was going to be well spent with all of our closest family and friends. On top of that, I had this proposal planned out perfectly and I couldn't wait to ask Talia to marry me. I just hope she doesn't turn me down, but then again...why would she?
From the moment I met her in the club, there was something that had me completely drawn to her. I'm not sure if it was her mesmerizing brown eyes, her thick, juicy lips, or her banging ass body, but whatever it was at the time...she had me hooked! Then once I started to get to know her, I found out that there was more to her then meets the eye. Not only was she beyond beautiful, she was also smart, funny, talented, and the list goes on and on. I couldn't wait to propose to her and finally make her Mrs. Talia Clarke.
"Wanna help mama put the ornament on the tree?" I asked Bella, lifting her up so that Talia could grab her.
"Come on, pumpkin. You can add your very first ornament." Talia said, kissing her cheek. Instead of putting the ornament on the tree, Bella brought the ornament up to her mouth and started chewing on it. "Stop that! I understand that you're teething, but everything doesn't belong in your mouth."
"Sholl the hell don't!" Bella looked down at me and started laughing, showing off those cute ass bottom two teeth that she had.
"I'm not laughing, lil girl."
"Babe, don't you start." Talia laughed, sitting down next to me. "You and Tevin kill me when ya'll talk to the babies like they can really understand ya'll." I laughed as I wrapped my arm around her and kissed her forehead, looking up at the nicely decorated tree.
"I never pictured myself raising a family in the same house where I was raised myself. This house holds so many memories, good and bad." I said, sighing heavily. "After my parents died, I wanted to sell this house and just move on with my life, but I couldn't do it. Hopefully this little cutie will keep this house whenever she gets older, and even if she doesn't...she bet not sell it."
"Well if she doesn't want to keep this house, then maybe our other future kids will want to live here." I looked over at her and squinted my eyes.
"Future kids? You trying to tell me something?" I asked her.
"Oh God no!" She said quickly, making me laugh.
"You made it very clear that Bella was our first and only child, but now you talking about future children and all that. I'm not complaining because I would knock your fine ass up right this second, if I didn't fear you coming home and fighting me once the doctor confirms it." She laughed and playfully shoved me.
"Well who knows what the future may bring, but I do know that we have sex a lot and another baby is bound to conceive if we don't start using protection."
"Well in that case...let's go put Bella to bed and make another baby." I smirked.
"Let's not." She giggled, rolling her eyes at me. "Speaking of babies though...where's Jude?"
"He and New New went out to dinner and a movie." I told her.
"What is her real name?"
"I think Kristen or something in that nature. Hell, I don't know. He's been calling her New New since the first time I met her."
"Wow. Well...whatever her name is...I'm glad that she's with Jude. Though he gets on my last nerve, and I do mean my very last nerve, I love seeing how happy he is." She said.
"I know right. Me too." I looked down and saw that Bella had dozed off on Talia's lap, sucking on her fist. "Looks like somebody is down for the count. She wants a sibling, which is why she tapped out early. So Ima go put her in her crib and you meet me in the bedroom in sixty seconds."
"Seriously Dean?"
"Sixty seconds, Talia. The clock is ticking!" I carried Bella upstairs and laid her in the bed, covering her up, and placing a kiss on her forehead. "Goodnight baby girl. Daddy loves you." I hurried out of the nursery, closing the door behind me, and running down the hall to our bedroom. There, I saw Talia removing her clothes as she looked back at me with a lustful look.
"You want me? I'm all yours." She said, licking her lips seductively. Before I could start removing my own clothes, the sound of glass shattering filled our ears as I turned and quickly ran out of the room. "What the fuck was that?"
"I don't know, but stay here and let me go check it out." I told her, walking back into the bedroom to grab my gun out of my bedside table drawer. Bella's loud cries then started echoing through the house, making me sigh as Talia threw her robe on and hurried out of the room to go get her. I headed downstairs and saw that my living room window was shattered, noticing that someone threw a brick through our window. "The fuck?"
"Is everything okay?" I heard Talia ask. I looked back and saw her standing on the staircase, holding Bella in her arms, as they both looked at me.
"Somebody smashed our fucking window!" I snapped.
"What?" She was about to come over to where I was, but I quickly stopped her.
"Hold on babe. There is glass everywhere. Take Bella back upstairs and wait for me in the room.
"Okay, but-wait a minute..." She bent down and picked up the brick, turning it over and revealing a note attached to it. I grabbed Bella from her and watched as she detached the note from the brick, unfolding it, and reading it silently.
"What does it say?" I asked.
"Payback is a bitch." She said, looking up at me. I furrowed my eyebrows and gave her a confused look, not fully understanding what the note meant.
"Say what now?"
"It's from Serena. I think she knows we killed Sam and Jocelyn."
