That bomb ass kiss between me and Talia was heavy on my mind and though I knew it probably didn't mean shit to her, at least I know that things aren't completely over between us. The more I look back on the moment where I could've ended all of this drama, the more I wished I would've just let Jocelyn eat a damn bullet.
It was a little after seven when I arrived back at Ilene's house, and though it was a long shot...I was going to try and talk Talia into coming back home. Grabbing a sleeping Bella out of her car seat, I gently placed her on my shoulder and grabbed her diaper bag. I then made my way towards the porch and knocked on the door, hearing Talia yell out that she was coming. When she finally opened the door, my eyes trailed down her body, as she tightened the robe she was wearing.
"Hey. She fell asleep in the car, but she's been up since I picked her up earlier." I said, as I stepped into the house.
"Okay that's fine. She'll most likely sleep through the night anyways." Talia said, gently taking her away from me. "Do you want her again tomorrow?"
"Yeah, but I want to talk to you before I leave."
"Okay, but this better not be a remake of what happened earlier. That kiss might've been good, but you are most definitely not off the damn hook." She said, as she turned and headed upstairs. I licked my lips and smirked, heading over to the couch and taking a seat, removing my coat.
A few minutes later, Talia came back downstairs and sat next to me on the couch, folding her arms across her chest. I swear, she looked so fucking sexy when she tried to keep a serious face. Though I know this situation was very serious, I still couldn't help but to admire how beautiful my woman was.
"First off, you need to stop looking at me like that. Okay? Secondly, you wanted to talk, so talk." She said.
"I miss you baby, and I want you to come back home." I began, reaching over to grab her hand.
"Dean-" She started to say, but I cut her off.
"No, let me finish. You have every right to be mad at me and I don't even blame you if you choose not to come back home, but I am sorry for lying to you. You didn't deserve it at all, especially with all the shit that Jocelyn put us through, but at the same time...I couldn't bring myself to harm her like I wanted to. It's true, I did still have love for her, but it can't even compare to how deeply in love I am with you. " I eased closer to her, pulling her towards me. "Give me a chance to make things right. Not just between us, but with Jocelyn as well."
"How do I know that you won't screw up your chance like you did last time?" She questioned, arching an eyebrow.
"Because I know you won't let me make the same mistake twice, seeing as how you'll be by my side this time around."
"Is that right?"
"Yeah, that is right." I smirked. "So...what do you say? Are you going to come back home with me, or are you going to make me get on my hands and knees and beg?" I asked her.
