I was sitting at the kitchen table, watching as Bella made a complete mess, while she attempted to eat her own breakfast.
"You need to eat something." Ilene said, sitting down a plate in front of me.
"I'm not hungry." I told her.
"You've barely had a meal since you've been here. I understand that you're upset about Dean, but that doesn't mean you have to starve yourself." I rolled my eyes and picked up the fork, slowly starting to eat. Though Ilene didn't know the full story about why I left Dean, I only told her bits and pieces of the story. I necessarily couldn't tell her everything, without telling her about Jocelyn and the fact that she was the one that tried to kill us. Therefore...I added a little lie to the truth, just so she wouldn't ask a million and one questions.
After breakfast, I cleaned up the kitchen while Ilene went to give Bella a bath. Considering the fact that I'm not a bitter ass baby mama, I was letting Dean get Bella for a few hours so he could spend some time with her.
"What time is Dean coming to pick Bella up?" Ilene asked me.
"He should be here in a little bit."
"Are you going to talk to him?" She asked me.
"Of course I am. I'm going to open the door, hand him the baby and her diaper bag, tell him what time to bring her back, and close the door. See? Co-parenting at its finest." I smiled.
"Don't be a smart a-word." She smirked, shaking her head.
"A smart a-word?"
"Yes! You know I don't cuss in front of Bella, and I highly advise you to do the same." She scolded me.
"It's a little too late for that." I murmured.
"What was that?" I opened my mouth to speak, but I was cut off by the doorbell ringing. Thank God, saved by the bell.
"I'll get it." I said, heading downstairs. I opened the door and rolled my eyes, seeing Dean standing there with a bouquet of roses and a pink teddy bear.
"Hey baby. These are for you." He said, handing me the flowers and bear.
"Hm. Thanks." I said, dropping the gifts on the floor, just like Tommie did Scrap on Love and Hip Hop.

He sucked in his teeth and bent down to pick up the flowers and bear, before walking into the house and closing the door.
"Was that necessary?" He questioned.
"Yep." I turned around and walked off, heading back upstairs to get Bella and her diaper bag. I guess Dean thought some raggedy ass flowers and a stuffed bear was going to make up for what he did, but little did he know...he was sadly mistaken. I'm not the one to be bribed with cute little gifts and what not.
"Dean's here." I said to Ilene.
"Okay...and why are you up here watching me, when you can be downstairs talking to him?"
"Because I have nothing to say to him." I shrugged.
"Be the bigger person, baby. I know you have some type of common sense in that big head of yours, and if you love that man like I know you do...then you should be able to work through this." She said. Though she was right about me loving Dean, because I loved that man to death. I just still couldn't believe that he lied to me and was still in love with Jocelyn, all while laid up with me every night.
"Mom, it's cold outside. Why is she wearing a dress?" I asked, changing the subject.
"Should I put her on some stockings?"
"I'd feel better if you put her on some pants." I said.
"Fine. While I change her clothes, you take your butt downstairs and talk to Dean."
"If I do that, the outcome might not be pretty." I told her.
"Be that as it may, you both are going to have to talk sometime, so why not do it now?" I sighed heavily and grabbed Bella's diaper bag, carrying it downstairs. Dean was waiting at the bottom of the stairs, still holding both the flowers and the bear in his hands.
"Here." I said, handing him her diaper bag. "My mom is changing her clothes so she'll be down with the baby in a minute."
"Aight. How are you though?" He asked.
"I'm cool."
"I miss you." I turned around, looking behind me as if somebody was standing there.
"Oh, you talking to me? I thought Jocelyn was behind me or something." I said, crossing my arms.
"Cut that shit out." He snapped. He sat the gifts down on the table before walking towards me, wrapping his arms around my body.
"Boy, if you don't-" I began, but he cut me off by kissing me. I reached up to smack the shit out of him, but he grabbed my wrists and held them above my head. I groaned a little, feeling my back hit the wall, as Dean slid his tongue into my mouth. When I tell you...ya girl's panties were DRENCHED! When we heard Ilene coming down the stairs, he pulled away and walked off, leaving me leaning against the wall; panting harshly and completely turned on.
"Hey daddy's baby." I heard him say. Bella started to laugh as Dean showered her face with kisses. "What time do you want me to bring her back?" A sly smirk came across his lips, making me roll my eyes at him.
"Before eight is fine." I told him.
"Seven it is. I'll call you when I'm on the way back." I nodded my head and waved at Bella, watching as they left the house.
"He's such a great father to my sweet Bella. Anyways, did you both talk?" Ilene asked me, furrowing her eyebrows at how I was leaning back against the wall.
"Not in so many words." I said, holding back my smile. "But I'm going to go paint. Just holler if you need me." I skipped away, heading to the back room where all my painting supplies were. Though Dean caught me off guard with that panty dropping kiss, I hope he didn't think he was off the hook for everything that went down between us. Hell would have to literally freeze over before I ever let his lying ass off the hook for not handling that ex bitch of his, but little does he know...I'll be handling that hoe personally. Unlike him, I have NO feelings for her ass, therefore...killing her will be like a walk in the park.
