Serena Iona
"OPEN THIS DOOR!" I screamed, banging on the door as hard as I could. Since being on the islands for awhile, I wasn't use to this cold weather and snow, which made me more frustrated then I already was. "JOCELYN! I KNOW YOU'RE IN THERE!" The door came flying open and a pair of hands immediately went for my neck, as I felt my entire body being lifted off of the ground.
"BITCH, WHY THE FUCK ARE YOU BEATING ON MY DAMN DOOR!"
"I'm-I'm looking for-for Jocelyn." I struggled to say. He dropped me onto the ground, as I grabbed my neck and looked up at him. Quanie glared down at me, looking as if he were both drunk and high.
"Jocelyn ain't here. I kicked her ass out of here almost a week ago and I haven't seen or heard from her since." He said, turning and walking away. I pulled myself up off of the floor and stepped into his house, closing the door behind me.
"So she was definitely here though? Hm. Did you two...?" I couldn't even bring myself to ask because I really didn't want to know the truth, even though I already knew that she was going to get back here and cheat on me. My dumb ass wanted to give her the benefit of the doubt, which is something I shouldn't have done at all.
"Look...the day I kicked her ass out of here, she admitted that you two were together. I didn't feel right about it, but I had already fucked her so I wasn't even thinking about it. It wasn't until she called out Dean's name while I was hitting it, which is why I kicked her ass out, and I haven't seen her since." He explained, motioning for me to sit down.
"No, I'm okay." I grumbled. "Do you have any idea where she might be? Like a friends house or something?"
"Nah. Like I said, she I kicked her out and I haven't seen her since. She probably somewhere stalking Dean and Talia's ass, knowing her sprung ass." I squinted my eyes and cocked my head to the side, slowly putting two and two together. "What's wrong?"
"Dean? Who is he exactly?" I asked.
"Jocelyn's ex-boyfriend. She was messing with him while I was messing with both her and Talia. Now that white muthafucka is with Talia, they got a baby, and living happily ever after." He grumbled, looking as bitter as he sounded.
"Does he, by any chance, have long dreads and a thick beard?"
"Yeah, that's him." I remember seeing him the night Talia was shot, and I also remembered seeing him at the hospital. I didn't know he and Talia had anything going on, but I think Jocelyn may have mentioned it to me a few times. She never got over the fact that he dumped her and left her for Talia, which I couldn't blame him because Talia was beyond gorgeous, but that was besides the point. "Why you keep making all these weird ass faces?"
"Jocelyn told me that she left because everyone she was associated with was dropping like flies." I began. "First Jude goes crazy and is put into a crazy hospital, then Biggie goes missing, and after a while...Sam goes missing and shows up on my doorstep dead."
"Hold up, hold up...Sam is dead?" I simply nodded my head, feeling the tears swell up in my eyes as I took a deep breath and sat down across from him. "Damn...I'm sorry to hear that. I stopped fucking with them after Jocelyn almost killed Talia in a car wreck and I didn't hear from anyone else except Jocelyn. She did tell me that Sam was talking to Tevin's ex-girlfriend, trying to sneak information out of her once he found out that she and him broke up, but he really started to like her. They was probably setting his ass up, which I wouldn't put it past them, but hell...I don't know."
"I'm almost certain that they had something to do with my brother's death and I'm not leaving here until I get revenge!" I growled, bawling up my fist.
"I don't think that would be wise. You actually have a chance to leave and continue living life, leaving all this drama behind. Why would you stay here and continue to poke the bear?" He asked me.
"Because if the shoe were on the other foot, and I was six feet under instead of Sam, then I know he wouldn't rest until he got justice for my death. Therefore, I'm going to get justice for him and I will kill anyone that gets in my way."
"Aight then. Good luck with that."
"I'm going to need your help."
"Nah, I'm good love. Enjoy." He said, lightening up a blunt. I huffed and pulled my gun out, pointing it at him.
"I wasn't asking, Quanie. I was telling!" I spat. He looked unfazed as he blew a puff of smoke into my face, letting out a low chuckle.
"Go ahead, baby girl. Shoot me."
"What?"
"You heard me. Pull the trigger and paint these walls with my blood." He smirked, licking his lips. I wanted to call his bluff, but I honestly think he was serious. He then grabbed my wrist and stood up, shoving my arm into the air and grabbing my face roughly. "You want my help? Threatening me ain't the way to go." He shoved me away and sat back down, taking another hit of his blunt. I almost found myself begging, but I refused to break down and turn into a weak bitch.
"I'll pay you." I said.
"Say what?"
"I said I'll pay you. Name your price and I'll write the check." I told him, crossing my arms. He stared at me for awhile, smoking his blunt quietly as we continued staring at each other.
"What is it that you need me to do?" He asked. A small smile formed on my face as I sat across from him and crossed my legs. Time to put this revenge plan in motion.

Christmas Day
I paced back and forth, staring outside at the snow that was falling, covering the streets and making it almost impossible for somebody to drive without sliding and possibly wrecking. I was waiting on Quanie to call me, which was taking too long, and I was starting to regret asking him for help. I took a deep breath and laid across my hotel bed, staring up at the ceiling, as I closed my eyes and started humming Christmas songs.
Christmas was me and Sam's favorite holiday and it broke my heart knowing that we wouldn't be able to spend another holiday together again. Tears fell from my eyes as I rolled over on my side and curled into a ball, crying silently in the middle of my bed. I was hurt. I was mad. All the emotions that I could possibly have were stirring deep up inside of me and I just wanted everything to go away.
My ringing phone snapped me out of my thoughts, as I sat up and wiped my tears away, climbing off of the bed and rushing towards my phone. Seeing that it was Quanie calling me, finally, I wasted no time answering the phone and putting it on speaker.
"Is it done?" I asked.
"It's done." He told me.
