I barely got any sleep because I was bubbling with so much happiness. Not only did I reveal to Dean that I was pregnant with our second child, but he surprised me with the most romantic proposal ever! Talk about the best Christmas ever!
Ilene screamed to the top of her lungs when she found out the good news about the new baby and the engagement.
"I am so happy for you both!" She beamed. "Let me see the ring." I excitedly held my hand out, showing off my huge rock.
"Jesus Christ! This is gorgeous! How much did this cost you, Dean?"
"Two hundred and fifty thousand." Dean answered, nonchalantly. My eyes widened as I turned and looked at him, seeing him smirk and wink at me.
"What? It was on sale." He chuckled. Bella's cries then came loudly from the baby monitor and Ilene quickly rushed upstairs to get her.
"Did you really spend a quarter of a million dollars on this ring?" I asked Dean, wrapping my arms around his torso.
"Hell yeah. Nothing is too expensive for my future wife." He leaned down and placed a soft kiss on my lips, wrapping his arms around my back and pressing his body against mine. When we heard my mom coming back downstairs with Bella, we pulled apart, giving each other lustful looks as we started smiling at one another.
"Bella's first Christmas!" She beamed, sitting Bella down in front of the Christmas tree. "Let's see...this first present is from mommy and daddy." Dean and I smiled, as we cuddled up together on the couch, watching as Bella leaned over and started tugging at the wrapping paper; attempting to put it in her mouth.
"Ah, you bet not." Dean said quickly, grabbing the paper from her. She whined and threw her hands up, going back to ripping paper off of her gift.
"We're going to be here forever." I groaned, taking a sip of her tea. I didn't mind though. I would sit and watch my precious pumpkin open gifts all day long.
"Yeah we are, but let her do her. She'll get faster at unwrapping gifts as she gets older." There was then a knock at the door and I groaned, getting up to answer it.
"Shit it's cold! Merry, Merry Christmas!" Tevin announced, as he walked into the house carrying a huge trash bag, dumping a shit load of gifts onto the floor. "I went a little overboard, but hey...there's no price high enough for my baby girl and my niece." Jackie sat Ivy down next to Bella and handed her one of her gifts to unwrap, but Ivy was focused on what Bella was unwrapping.
"Pay attention to your own gifts, Ivy." Jackie said, sitting next to her.
By the time the babies got through half of their gifts, everyone else had arrived and was watching the kids as they opened their gifts. Even Zell was here with his son, which I had no idea that he even had a kid, but apparently he just found out about him not too long ago.
