Age of Ultron

Natasha and I rode in through the cold snow on a military-style Jeep. As bots began to attack us, I kicked them away, also throwing punches. Thor swung his hammer from the Jeep beside us before jumping in the air. Clint, who was on the same vehicle as we continued to shoot arrows up at the flying bots. Steve rode in on a motorcycle knocking out the guards with a swing of his shield.

"Get ready to jump," Nat smirked at me as the Jeep tilted, the three of us jumping from the vehicle. I held up my A.R. as I continued to shoot down the guards.

Tony weaved in and out of the trees, trying to get closer to the building we were meant to raid.

"Shit!" Tony cried out, probably making an impact with something.

"Language," Steve called out after him. "JARVIS what's the view from upstairs?" He asked before I even had the chance to poke fun at his correction.
"The central building is protected by some sort of energy shield." The AI explained to us as we continued to fight our way through. "Strucker's technology well beyond any kind of HYDRA base we've ever taken."

"Loki's scepter must be here!" Thor told us as he fought off a team of guards. I jumped in, using my forcefields as an impact, knocking them off of their feet. I then continued to shoot them down as the god used his own powers. "Strucker couldn't mound this defense without it. At long last." I then turned back to help out Nat as she threw an explosive into one of Strucker's trucks, it blowing up from the inside.

"At long last is lasting a little long, boys," Natasha commented as I kicked one of the snipers into a portal before closing it on him.

"Yeah, I think we've lost the element of surprise," Clint added on.

"Wait a sec," Tony piped up, "is no one gonna deal with the fact that Cap just said "language"?" I let out a laugh at Tony's comment.

"I was gonna say the same thing," I added on.

"I know." Steve sighed. "It just slipped out."

"We're only teasing."

The sound of guns firing and explosions blasting filled the forest as we raided the HYDRA base. This had become so regular for us as we were trying to clean out all the bases. After what happened in D.C., we wanted to make sure something like that never happened again.

"Sir the city is taking fire," JARVIS spoke through to Tony.

"Now I know Strucker isn't going to care about civilian casualties," Tony muttered. "Send in the Iron Legion."

"What a dick." I piped up.

"Steve, you aren't going to call out your girlfriend?" Tony exclaimed after my comment.

"We aren't dating." The two of us said at the same time.

Clint and I made our way through the woods in efforts to take down a little guard station. We both waited behind two different trees. Clint nodded to me as he gripped onto an explosive arrow. He turned to shoot but the explosion never followed. I furrowed my brows, turning to take a look. But, there was no arrow in sight. He turned to shoot again but with a little breeze, Clint was sent tumbling to the ground. A man with platinum hair that had dark roots, striking blue eyes, and dressing in a tracksuit walked in front of us.

"You didn't see that coming?" He asked before dashing away.

"What on Earth was that?" I muttered to Clint, raising my fists, ready in case he appeared. Clint raised his bow with an arrow ready just in case. I turned to see a guard aiming at us since we were distracted.

When the beam headed toward Clint I jumped in front. A warmth filled my torso as I was shot to the ground.

"Cali, why would you do that?" Clint questioned, his tone filled with panic.

"We have an enhanced in the field," Steve spoke through the earpieces.

"Cali's hit," Natasha informed the rest of the Avengers as she ran towards me, Clint taking out the guards. She pulled out gauze and pressed it to my side.

"Cali?" Steve called out, trying to hear a response.

"I'm good, Steve. Nat, I'm fine." I tried to shake her off, pushing myself up before collapsing back to the ground.

"You might wanna sit this one out, kid." Clint sighed, kneeling down beside me.

"Yeah, I think I just need a good nap."

"Nat, you get in there, I'll take her." Natasha nodded as Clint adjusted himself, scooping me up into his arms.

"She's hurt pretty bad guys, she needs evac," Clint explained to the guys.

"I thought you said you were fine!" Steve cried out.

"Well, I will be, Rogers. Go kick some ass for me." I muttered before groaning in pain at the new adjustment.
