I played with the cuffs of my catsuit as I grew bored. Everyone was doing something it seemed. I made small chat with Steve but when he gets nervous, I get nervous. We knew it wasn't good to feed off of each other, so we kept a small distance, but not too far.

"Thor, report on the Hulk," Natasha spoke from the side of the jet where her and Bruce were conversing.

"The gates of Hell are filled with the screams of his victims." I looked over the best I could, but I could hear a sigh from Bruce. I guess that wasn't exactly what he wanted to hear. "But not the screams of the dead of course. Wounded screams. Mainly whimpering, a great deal of complaining and uh, tales of sprained deltoids and gout." He tried to rephrase. I let out a small chuckle and was met with another wave of pain.

"Hey, Banner, Doctor Cho is on her way in from Seoul, is it okay if she sets up in your lab?" Tony asked from the cockpit.

"Uh, yeah, she knows her way around," Bruce answered.

"JARVIS let her prep, Cali's gonna need the full treatment." He muttered.

"Very good, sir."

"JARVIS, take the wheel."

"Yes, sir."

"Oh great." I rolled my eyes as Tony walked over to Steve and Thor who hung out in the back of the jet.

"See, you shouldn't have taken that blast for me." Clint teased.

"Barton I'd do it again without a doubt and you know that."

As the jet landed, the stretcher I was on was quickly removed and rolled into Stark tower. Doctor Helen Cho and her nurses met with me quickly before rushing me to the lab. Within ten minutes, Clint and Nat joined us as the machine began to heal the tissue around the wound.

"You sure she's gonna be okay?" Nat asked as she watched. "Pretending to need her really brings the team together."

"You should be a comedian." I teased with a roll of my eyes.

"There's no possibility with deterioration the nano-molecular functionality is instantaneous," Cho said as she adjusted some of the speeds and the medical functions. "The cells don't know they are bonding with electrons."

"She is incredible, she's creating tissue," Bruce spoke in awe as he watched her work.

"If you brought her to my lab, the regeneration cradle could do this is twenty minutes." She explained.

"She's flatlining, time? Call it." Tony spoke as he walked in, handing me a glass of water.

"Nah, Stark. I'm an alien remember? I can live forever." I let out a chuckle before sipping through the straw making an effort to not spilling the water all over my face.

"Well even though you aren't human, you are still made of you, Callisto. Even Steve Rogers won't be able to tell a difference." She explained to me.

"We're not dating." I shook my head.

"That I can't fix." She spoke as she returned to her tablet. "This is the future, Stark. It'll put your clunky metal suits to rest."

"That is exactly the plan." Tony agreed. "And Helen I expect to see you at the party on Saturday."

"Unlike you, I don't have a lot of time for parties." She looked down at her work before looking back up. "Will Thor be there?"

I looked over at Steve walked into the room. He had two cups, one with coffee, and the other with a smoothie for me. Everyone else had decided to let me rest and take a second for myself, so the company was appreciated.

"Hey there, Rogers," I spoke softly.

"I brought vitamins." He smiled as he set it on the table for me. "Hopefully will help with the healing process."

"Thanks." I smiled sincerely.

"How are you feeling." He asked me.

"A little better than when you asked me five minutes ago." I teased which made him let out a small laugh as he kept his concerned gaze on me. "Helen Cho is an actual god."

"She seems to know what she's doing." Steve smiled looking down at me with a warm smile on his face.

"Thank you for being so sweet, Steve," I responded with the same smile. "I get hurt a lot and you are always at my side."

"It's because I care about you, Cali."

"I care about you too."
