Our partying and happy mood suddenly came to a halt as a high pitched noise sounded through the room. All of us flinched, holding our hands up to our ears. I looked over my shoulder to see a broken down Iron Legion bot limping into the room

"Worthy." It's deep, yet glitchy voice spoke to us. "No. How could you be worthy? You're all killers."

"Stark," Steve called out to Tony in an unsure, yet warning tone.

"JARVIS," Tony spoke out in the same state of confusion as everyone else.

"I'm sorry, I was asleep. Or I was in a dream." It mumbled out to the group of heroes.

"Reboot Legionnaire OS. We got a buggy suit." Tony spoke in an attempt to getting JARVIS to override it.

"There was this terrible noise. And I was tangled in...in...strings. I had to kill the other guy. He was a good guy."

"You killed someone?" I asked, looking over at Steve who stood in front of me in a protective manner.

"Wouldn't have been my first call. But, down in the real world, we're faced with ugly choices."

"Who sent you?" Thor asked, gripping onto his hammer, ready to fight.

"I see a suit of armor around the world." Tony's voice rang through the room on a pre-recording.

"Ultron," Bruce muttered under his breath, but loud enough for us to hear him.

"In the flesh." The bot said as it bent over in as an attempt to bow. "Oh, no, not yet. Not this chrysalis. But I'm ready. I'm on a mission." Maria readied her gun as all the heroes grew defensive, unsure of the bot's intentions.

"What's your mission?" I asked from behind Steve.

"Peace in our time." It answered me.

Just then two other bots crashed through the walls that connected the rec room to the lab. They stumbled over the stairs as they still needed to be fixed from the mission at Strucker's base. Steve grabbed onto me, moving us over to seek cover behind a couch. His cheeks tinted a light color of pink because of how close we were, mine, sure enough, the same color.
"Be careful." He told me.

"I always am," I smirked before going off to fight.

On my right side of vision, I saw Helen Cho trying to hide behind the grand piano as an Iron Legion bot crept up on her. Just as it was about to attack I created a forcefield around her. The bot turned to me and I punched it only to get a sore fist.

Wow, so that's how Bella felt punching a werewolf.

I quickly made a forcefield around me to protect myself from an attack before opening a portal as it lunged at me, closing it before it could fly back out.

"That was dramatic." Ultron finally spoke as we had defeated the Iron Legion. I kept my guard up, my fists closed as they hung at my side. "I'm sorry, I know you mean well. You just didn't think it through. You want to protect the world but you don't want it to change. How is humanity saved if it's not allowed to evolve?" Ultron picked up one of the defeated bots from the ground to make a point. "With these...these puppets?" He crushed the bot he was holding, it crunching as if it were a soda can. "There's only one path to peace. The Avengers' extinction." Thor swung his hammer at Ultron but it crumbled to the ground before it could hit.

Thor retrieved his hammer by sending it back to his hand. The room grew very quiet, real fast.

"I had strings, but now I'm free." The bot sang out the song I remembered from the Disney movie, the voice fading out in an eerie tone.

"It's a no from me," I muttered under my breath before cracking my back. "Damn, I should have stretched."
