I quickly searched through the desktop in one of the briefing rooms in Stark tower. Everything was wiped it seemed. Ultron just so managed to grab all the information for himself.

"All our work is gone," Bruce muttered as he himself tried to access files that were stored specially for the lab.

"He obviously wiped everything and used the Internet as an escape route," I explained before starting up an internet browser. "Even all the bookmarked web pages are gone."

"Ultron," Steve muttered as I continued to search.

"So he's been in everything. Files, surveillance. Probably knows more about us than we know about each other." Natasha mentioned.

It was true. Most of us had many secrets that we didn't even know about. Just like when Steve and I found Zola, he knew more about me than I did. But he didn't really go into detail. He gave me one clue. Dioneson. I still don't know what that means, but obviously, there were people out there who did. There were people with connections that I didn't have.

"He's in your files, he's in the internet," Rhodey exclaimed as he walked around the room. "What if he decides to access something a little more exciting?"

"Well I know he's seen Tony's browser history so that's already risky as it is," I commented which earned glares from a select amount of people in the room. "Or Nuclear codes," I added.

"Look, we need to make some calls, assuming we still can," Rhodey spoke out once more.

"Nukes?" Natasha questioned, her brows furrowing as she looked over to me. "He said he wanted us dead."

"He didn't say dead. He said extinct." Steve corrected.

"He also said he killed somebody," Clint added in.

"There wasn't anyone else in the building." Maria looked just as confused as the rest of us.

"Yes, there was." Tony corrected as he walked over to us.

He pressed a button and an orange disfigured ball of something that resembled energy came into our view.

"What?" Bruce questioned as he walked over, scanning it up and down. "This is insane."

"JARVIS was the first line of defense. He would have shut Ultron down. It makes sense." Steve sighed, leaning back in his chair.

"No. Ultron could have assimilated JARVIS," Bruce said as he studied the ball of light as it glitched. "This isn't a strategy. This is rage."

Just then Thor stomped into the room, fully armored and picked Tony up by the throat. Everyone suddenly grew on edge as the man was raised from the ground, feet dangling.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa!" Steve called out to the demigod.

"It's going around," Clint spoke up.

"Come on, use your words, buddy," Tony spoke in a raspy tone as that was all he could get out.

"I have more than enough words to describe you, Stark," Thor told the billionaire.

"Thor. The Legionnaire." Steve reminded the god with a hard tone of voice. The god dropped the man who let out a cough and rubbed his throat to ease the pain.

"Trail went cold about a hundred miles out, but it's headed north. And it has the scepter." He explained to the group of heroes. "Now we have to retrieve it, again."

"Fantastic, because we know how well that went last time." I rolled my eyes annoyed.

"Genie's out of that bottle. Clear and present is Ultron." Natasha stood up, crossing her arms.

"I don't understand." Cho shook her head as she eyes the bot on the exam table. "You built this program. Why is it trying to kill us?"

Tony let out a small chuckle as a response making us all look at him as if he was a psychopath.

"Tony you have issues." I rubbed my temples, trying to ease a headache that was growing.

"You think this is funny?" Thor asked.

"No." Tony turned his back to us. "It's probably not, right? This is very terrible. It is so..." He let out another laugh. "Is it so...It is. It's so terrible."

"I really wanna slap you across the face right now," I mumbled as I leaned back in my chair, crossing my arms.

"This could have been avoided if you hadn't played with something you don't understand." Thor reminded Tony.

"No. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. It is funny." Tony walked up to the god. "It's a hoot that you don't get why we need this."

"Tony, maybe this might not be the time." Bruce piped up.

"Not the time for what?" I questioned, leaning forward, watching the situation unfold.

"Really?" Tony turned to Bruce with a relaxed demeanor, not even phased by what was happening around him. "That's it? You just roll over, show your belly every time somebody snarls?"

"Only when I've created a murder bot." Banner retaliated.

"We didn't. We weren't even close. Were we close to an interface?" Bruce hesitated his nod as a response to Tony.

"Well, you did something right. And you did it right here." Steve spoke up to the man who was being a bit of a douche bag right now. "The Avengers was supposed to be different than S.H.I.E.L.D." Steve pointed out, bringing up the happening last year.

"Anybody remember when I carried a nuke through a wormhole?" Tony reminded the group which caused everyone to roll their eyes.

"No, it never came up," Rhodey responded, annoyed at the over told story.

"Saved New York?"

"Never heard of that."

"Recall that? A hostile alien army came charging through a hold in space. We're standing three hundred feet below it." Tony explained to the group. "We're the Avenger. We can bust arms dealers all the livelong day, but that up there, that's...That's the endgame. How were you guys planning on beating that."

"Together," Steve replied quickly without hesitation.

"We'll lose," Tony stated flatly.

"Then we'll do that together too," I responded, backing Steve up.

"Thor's right. Ultron calling us out. And I'd like to find him before he's ready for us. The world's a big place. Let's start making it a little smaller." Steve added.
