Sarah immediately ran towards David. She aimed her gun. Then got confused. She saw Antonio lying on top of David's thighs. She looked at the man who just fired at Antonio. She did not know him but he looked familiar.
Antonio was shot at the back then stumbled upon David which caused David to lose his balance and fell on the floor.
David held her leg. She was actually standing with David's head in between her feet. Two more men came in and she saw no more danger. She immediately helped David get up and hug him as tight as she can while she cried in relief.
It was Ryan, David's colleague, who went to their rescue. Along with him were US marshalls and policemen who helped him save David and Sarah. Ryan was able to find what David asked him to search for. Those were pictures of dead known personalities Antonio and his men assasinated in exchanged for a large sum of money. Antonio's clients wanted to make sure Antonio did what they asked for that was why Antonio took pictures of their victims.
There were also pictures of a Reverend kissing a young male. Another picture of a politician making love with another man. During US police' initial investigation, Antonio used these pictures to blackmail the two personalities and so they can continue with their underground business.
The police would further investigate based on the evidence they found at Sarah's stolen car.
The US chief of police thanked Sarah and David for being able to bring down the head of one of the considered syndicate in Texas.
Sarah and David thanked them more for being able to come in the nick of time.
David was put on an ambulance and along with Sarah, they were on their way to the nearest hospital. David laid on the stretcher while Sarah sat and held his hands.
"God does not want us to die yet." Sarah told David.
"You are a widow now, will you marry me?" David asked.
"You are too fast...just too fast."
"I missed my morning coffee."
"Uhm?"
"You were not able to cook the chicken soup..."
Sarah smiled at him.
"I want a dozen kids..."
Sarah stopped him from talking by kissing him on his lips. Her tears flowing down her cheeks.
