David rented a small apartment in Mountain Rocks. A week stay, he presumed. It couldn't be more than that. He needed to find Sarah soon. Mountain Rocks was one of the suburban areas in Texas. Lots of mountanious landscape, therefore the name.

He decided to take a rest first. He studied the maps of Mountain Rocks. His first stop would be at Southville, the southern part of Mountain Rocks, where S&S Auto Shop was located. He missed Tara very much. How he hoped she is okay.

His head was aching. He was trying to understand everything that just happened. He already knew Tara was on the run. It was evident with how she end up in Conyers. Maybe he was running from that man who hit her. She might be a thief, but he hardly believe that thought. No matter what, he needed to know the truth. So to make him free from what he was feeling right now.

David tried to get some sleep. He needed to wake up early the next morning.

He was already scanning the Southville area as early as five o'clock the next morning. S&S shouldn't be hard to find. It was just along the main highway of Southville.

He was staring at the shop after an hour of search. But nobody seemed to be around. After a few call outs, he decided to come in. The glass door gave up easily. He was led to what seemed to be an office. The place seemed abandoned for months for the dust had settled on the surfaces. He checked the telephone if there was still a dialtone. None.

He saw a door leading to the small living room. Next to it was a kitchen with a table good for maybe six or eight. There was a stair in between the living room and the kitchen that might be leading to the bedrooms. He preferred not to go there anymore.

The door at back of the kitchen led to an open space. This must be the working area. There were old and damaged vehicles lined up. He noticed the tow truck from the picture he saw on the internet. It says S&S Autoshop on the front of the truck.

He noticed a closed area at the back of the open space. He walked to it and pushed aside the curtains that served as the door. It was a work area as well. Perhaps Sarah's area. Paints and brushes were everywhere. There were beautiful paintings hung on the wall. There were unfinished ones. David was breathless. The paintings were so beautiful he could look at them forever. Sarah was a realist artist. Her drawings were vivid as if they were alive. And it was obvious she loved nature.

He retrieved his steps and went back inside the office. He might see something there. He was about to turn around when he heard a click of a gun. He felt its cold nose on his neck.
