Scene 6 "Truth or consequence"

{Dining hall}

King Golthan sits in a massive room with the racers, he begins talking with the racers while the racers eat massive amounts of chicken or ham with fruits and vegetables. The room was full of laughter and delight until King Golthan notices Luke wasn't in the room.

King Golthan- (Upset) "Ugh, this chicken tastes horrible. Where is Voltage?"

Accelerate- "Maybe he quit and didn't want to join us for the feast..."

Accelerate and the rest of the racers look at the door as time slowed down, Luke runs into the room waving at everyone with nervousness then sits at the empty seat at the end of the table. All of the racers look at him without a care in the world, they look at King Golthan. Luke sits there and begins eating while King Golthan talks.

King Golthan- "Oh there he is, Mr. Harris what world do you come from? (Luke stops eating and looks at him with worry) You don't have to answer it but the Speed Kingdom has absolutely nothing on you from where you're from to who you are."

Blue Bolt- "That's because he doesn't exist, he's just a figment of our imaginations."

Bullet- (Looking at Luke) "I kinda want to hear a little bit about this competitor. (The racers look) What? Don't you think we should at least study the competition just in case he ends up being the one."

Accelerate- "He's not the one."

Blue Bolt- "I'm just saying what if he is the one?"

Accelerate- "And I'm saying he's not the one."

Luke Harris- "Excuse me, (Everyone looks) but who is the one?"

Turbo- "We'll tell you once you tell us about yourself."

Luke Harris- (Finishes chewing his food) "Ok, I'm from Earth..."

King Golthan- "Which one?"

Luke Harris- "I don't know, one I guess. I have a wife and a daughter, I recently got my speed after being struck by lightning while holding an electric cable then fell four stories into a pond which should have killed me but instead, I woke up running so fast that I was offered a spot in the race in the multiverse."

King Golthan- "What race of the multiverse?"

Luke Harris- "Francois said that you had a of the multiverse. (Looks at everyone at the table) What kind of race is this?"

King Golthan- "This is the race to determine who will take my spot in the throne when I pass."

Luke looks at the table with wonder while everyone stares at him, King Golthan's chair vibrates, he pulls up a hologram about Luke. King Golthan looks up in surprise not seeing Luke anywhere.

King Golthan- "Where'd he go?"

Accelerate- "Don't know, don't care. (Bites into a chicken leg)"

Bullet- "What does it say?"

King Golthan- "Find him... (Everyone looks) NOW!"

Everyone goes back to eating.

King Golthan- "Why are you not finding him?"

Turbo- "We're only here for the race."

King Golthan- "I offer the one to find him five million milliums."

Everyone looks at the king with surprise then to each other. In the blink of an eye, the room falls empty. King Golthan looks down at his plate and continues eating.

King Golthan- "May, you're fired. Never cook for me again."

{Francois room}

Francois sits in his room at a desk reading a book. Luke runs in and locks the door behind him, he stands against the wall while looking at Francois with hate in his eyes. Francois stands up and turns to look at Luke with worry.

Francois- "You found out didn't you?"

Luke Harris- "About the race? Yeah."

Francois- "Luke look I..."

Luke Harris- "You pulled me away from my dying daughter for your world."

Francois- "Luke I had to."

Luke Harris- (With a tear in his eye) "Why? Huh. Tell me."

A knock hits the door with Accelerate, Bullet, and Turbo arguing about the milliums. Luke and Francois ignore it and continue talking.

Francois- "Because my world needs your help."

Luke Harris- "From what The speed king thing? (Francois nods with worry) Well, King Golthan already told me he's not real."

Francois- "No but he is and he's going to kill us all."

The door gets kicked open by Bullet. King Golthan, Accelerate, Turbo, Blue Bolt, and a few people stand looking at Luke and Francois's argument.

Luke Harris- "Give me proof or I'm heading home."

Francois looks around the room with worry on his face. He begins digging around under his bed looking for something, Luke looks at a messy closet with a black shirt hanging out of a bag. Francois pulls up a sketchbook and opens it showing everyone a picture of a black shadowy figure made out of pen ink.

Luke Harris- "Im going home Francois. (Looks at Accelerate) Can you get e home?"

Accelerate- "Yeah."

Luke, Accelerate, and everyone else begins walking down the hallway while Francois looks at the black shirt in his closet with anger then gets up as a shadow quickly runs past the closet grabbing the shirt, Francois follows close behind begging Luke to stay. Accelerate grabs onto Luke's neck and exhales, He opens his eyes, they widen with adrenaline. Accelerate begins walking while everything stopped around him even Luke. Accelerate begins feeling a tingle go down his body, he looks down only to see a white shock of electricity run up Luke's leg and into Accelerate's arm. A burst of white energy flies off of Luke and Accelerate throwing everyone in seperate directions. Everyone looks at Luke with awe seeing non-stop energy move all over his body. King Golthan looks at Luke with shock as well does Francois. Luke looks up at everyone.

Luke Harris- "What?"

King Golthan- "He does exist."

Servant 1- (Under her breath) "My god the madman was right."

Servant 2- (Under his breath) "The dark is coming."

Luke overhears the servants and looks around, he turns around only to run into a robust figure with a black suit on, the suit had silver lightning bolts around its arms, legs, and abdomen. Its eyes were glowing red, its body was jerking around rapidly as if it couldn't stay in one spot for too long or it would collapse. Luke stared at it with fear. It snarled then said his name was Tuhan in a dark and eerie voice. Some people gasped.

Tuhan- "I've been waiting for you to show up Voltage."

Luke Harris- "So, you do exist."

Tuhan- "In the flesh yes, in the mind we'll get to that later."

Luke Harris- "Why do you want to hurt all of these people?"

Tuhan- "I don't want them. I want all of my fellow speedsters to join me in the race for the throne. Those who deny with be killed on the spot, any volunteers?"

The speedsters all look at each other with worry, Blue Bolt steps forward.

Blue Bolt- "I refuse to race with such a monster, I will not face you today or ever."

Tuhan turns around and vanishes for a split second only to be back looking at Luke and the crowd of people as Blue Bolt stads looking at Tuhan with pain in his eyes. Everyone turns to look at Blue Bolt seeing a massive hole in his chest.

Tuhan- "You're right, you'll never face me because you're dead. (Evil laughter)"

Accelerate- "I'll face you."

Bullet- "I'll race you."

Turbo- "You're on."

Everyone looks around seeing Pulsar walk out from behind the crowd then nods.

Everyone looks at Luke as he thinks.

Luke Harris- "I'll do it."

Tuhan- "Great, the next race is tomorrow at the Zulper raceway. Don't be late."

Tuhan vanishes from sight.
