Scene 17 "Epilogue PT. 1"

Luke opens his front door and enters the house quietly, he flips the light switch but nothing happened. He flips it again, but the light stayed off. He shakes it off as a dead bulb and walks into the living room not seeing a shadowed outline of a man sitting on his couch.

Nathan Jones- (From the couch) "Mr. Harris."

Luke stops and turns around seeing the shadow sitting on his couch. The shadow turns on a lamp next to the couch, Luke looks in surprise at Nathan sitting there looking back at him.

Luke Harris- "How did you get in my house? Where? (Luke runs around his house zooming passed Nathan. Nathan stands up only for Luke to grab his collar on his shirt and force him against the wall) Where's my wife and daughter? Huh? Where?"

Nathan Jones- (Grabs Luke's arm freezing it, Luke drops Nathan while grabbing his arm in pain) "You're family, is safe, for how long I don't know."

Luke Harris- (Rubbing the ice on his arm fast melting it. He looks up at Nathan) "What do you mean? I thought you were one of the good guys?"

Nathan Jones- (Helping Luke back up) "I am, but my sources at the bunker tell me something's coming. Something big and powerful. Something not of this world."

Luke Harris- "Like what?"

Nathan sets down a little metal ball on the coffee table, a hologram pops out of it showing a pair of glowing yellow eyes on a shadow of a robust woman with a massive sword.

Nathan Jones- (Seeing Luke's reaction of hatred) "Are you alright?"

Luke Harris- (Looking at the woman) "Yeah, I just have seen her before."

Nathan Jones- "Really, When?"

Luke Harris- "On this other world, I was on called the Speed Kingdom. I had a seizure before a race, at least I thought it was a seizure until I was in my daughter's hospital room. This woman stood at the end of her bed with sharp claws, she sang All around the merry go round while she stepped closer to Lia. (A tear runs down his face) I dreamt that this woman killed Lia, my daughter."

Nathan Jones- (Hands Luke a card with the letter F and A on it, in the A was red light) "I'm going to give you time to think about if you want to join us at the Bunker."

Nathan grabs the metal ball and heads towards the door only to be stopped by Luke.

Luke Harris- "Nathan."

Nathan Jones- "Yeah?"

Luke Harris- "I'll fight with you, (Wipes the tear from his face) when do we start?"

Nathan Jones- "That card I gave you, keep it. You'll know when we call you. (Opens the door) And Luke."

Luke Harris- "Yeah."

Nathan Jones- "Sorry about your arm and your family went to the movies. Apparently, I'm getting a movie about myself, some documentary about what transpired over thirty years ago. (Silence for a moment) Anyway, I'm going to the bunker now."

Nathan leaves closing the door behind him, a car door shuts then drives away as Luke looks at the card then places it on the table.

In the car driving down the street, Nathan pulls out a cell phone and begins dialing a number then places it next to his ear. K.J.'s voice can be heard on the other line.

Nathan Jones- (Calmly) "We have the runner, I'm heading home now. Tell Megan and the kids I'm coming."

K.J.- (Over the phone) "Nathan there was an explosion in the twins room."

Nathan Jones- "Oh my God, are they OK?"

K.J.- (Over the phone) "Yeah, but Dr. Strain said there was a woman in the room and none of the kids where in sight then when she came back the kids were there. Do you think she was the target you're looking for?"

Nathan Jones- "I don't know. I'll be home soon, I'm taking the plane. I'll see you guys tomorrow. Just keep a close eye on them, Luke said he had a dream of his kid being attacked. We don't need that."

K.J.- "Ok, just get here soon."

Nathan Jones- "Will do dad, bye."

K.J.- "Bye son."

Nathan hangs up the phone and pulls the car over, he stares ahead of the vehicle and powers it off. He sits there in the dark car with worry, he gets out of the car and locks it. Nathan runs down the street then prays ice from his hand, he rides the ice slide down the street passing cars and buildings.
