Scene 13 "Let the race begin"

In the speedvault everyone looks at the table as Luke's body reappears, Hyperdrift walks quickly over to him and begins trying to bring him back to life while begging to cry. Alina tries pulling her away only to get stopped by Comet.

Comet- "I have an Idea."

Comet runs at the wall and disappears then reappears with Michael and Lia who still had the headphones in. Michael sees Luke's body on the table and rushes over to it crying along with Lia.

Lia- "Daddy?"

Lia climbs onto the table and hugs Luke while Hyperdrift and Alina look on in disappointment. A bright rainbow color light sparks from Lia as she begins to let go of Luke.

Alina- (Kneels to Lia) "You're a speedster too?"

Michael Harris- (Looking confused) "That's not possible."

Lia Harris- "When daddy let go of me in the hospital I felt a shock run through my body."

Michael Harris- "Honey why didn't you tell mommy?"

Lia Harris- "I thought it was just static from our clothes."

Hyperdrift- (Looking at Lia) "Little one We're going to need your help to bring your daddy back. OK?"

Lia Harris- "Ok."

Alina- "Mis. Harris, you're going to want to back up for your safety."

Michael backs up a few feet.

Hyperdrift- "Lia, I'm going to need you to place your hands on your daddy's chest for me right here and here."

Lia places her hands over Luke's heart and his right side while Hyperdrift places her hands on Luke's legs.

Hyperdrift- "When I say go I want you to move your hands as fast as you can."

Lia Harris- "Ok."

Michael Harris- (To Alina) "Why does she have to do that?"

Alina- "The movement from your daughter's energy will send a spark of energy into Luke's heart which should wake him up."

Hyperdrift- "Go."

Lia and Hyperdrift begin moving their hands rapidly as a purple spark comes from Hyperdrift and a rainbow spark came from Lia. Alina runs and grabs Lia and Hyperdrift as Luke's body begins getting covered in Purple, Green and rainbow energy begin flowing over him. Luke's body jumps with a jolt, he sits up seeing Michael and Lia.

Luke Harris- "What happened?"

Alina- "Not much time to explain Luke, You were right about Francois. He's Tuhan or Death."

Luke Harris- "What?"

Hyperdrift- "He's your cousin."

Luke Harris- (Gets off of the table and hugs Lia and Michael) "This is final, I'm going to kill him now. Let's go."

Luke runs out of the room as Alina takes Lia and runs while Hyperdrift grabs Michael and runs out of the room to the stadium, full of cheering fans. They shout out Voltage while Tuhan stands at the throne looking out at the crowd with an evil grin on the mask. Tuhan demanded the crowd go silent with a heavy and raspy voice, the crowd grows quiet until Luke runs to the starting line. The crowd begins roaring with excitement as Luke looks up at Tuhan with a nasty snarl.

Luke Harris- (Under breath) "I've been waiting for this."

Tuhan- (To the crowd) "Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final race for the throne and is crowned the King of Speed. (To Voltage) Are you ready to die Voltage?"

Luke Harris- "The question is, are you ready to race Death?"

Tuhan laughs and runs from the throne to Luke's side, his glowing red eyes looked vicious as he stared at Luke.

Tuhan- "May the slowest racer die."

Lia- (By the crowd) "Daddy in your pocket."

Luke Harris- (Reached into his pocket and pulled out a mask with neon green lightning bolts on it and puts it on covering his mouth, nose, eyes, and ears, leaving his baldish head open) "Are you ready cousin?"

Tuhan- "Are you ready to die Voltage?"

Luke Harris- (Facing the starting line) "Let's race."

Tuhan- "Good luck... you'll need it."

Michael Harris- "Come on honey, kick his ass. Whoo."

Alina, Hyperdrift, Michael, Lia, and the remaining junkies cheer for Voltage along with the crowd.

Tuhan slowly counts down from three as everything slows down around Luke. Luke opens his eyes while he stands in his living room twenty years ago, he sees his younger self-standing in the hallway with an empty glass and looking to his mother asleep on the couch. Luke looks down at his mother while she slept.

Luke Harris- (Bends down and kisses his mothers cheek with a tear racing down his face) I'm going to win and end this for you mom."

Back at the raceway, Tuhan says two while green lightning uns all over Luke's body as did Alina's and Hyperdrift's lightning.

Tuhan- "One, go."

Tuhan raced away from Luke as Luke gave off a burst of energy and ran after him with a sonic boom going off behind him throwing a couple of fans backward a little. They race around the track once with Tuhan still leading and Luke gaining on him. They near Michael and Lia only for Tuhan to throw his silver burst of energy at Lia and Michael. Luke runs toward Lia blocking her from the indescribable pain that could come her way, Tuhan races past the second lap while Luke flies into the crowd of people knocking people down. Tuhan stops halfway around the track looking at Luke laughing evilly while his silver energy crawls around his body. Luke kneels in the stands helping people up and looking at Tuhan with anger, Luke then hears Lia's voice in his head. "Daddy, you are always my hero. No matter what happens to me you're always there for me." Luke looks at Tuhan and runs toward him in a split second and grabs him as a massive misty hole opens while Luke runs with Tuhan into it, the hole closes behind them as the crowd grows quiet and waits.

{Washington D.C. Earth}

Tuhan falls from the misty hole landing on his back with the wind knocked out of him as Luke falls from the hole landing on top of him. Luke begins punching Tuhan in the face ripping the mouth of his mask open along with his right ear and his nose. Luke grabbed onto the eyes of the mask and ripped the mask off of his eyes, revealing black and blue eyes and a little blood dripping from the mask.

Tuhan- "You won't kill me, Luke."

Luke Harris- "Yeah, what makes you think I won't?"

Tuhan- "Because you don't want to live with that on your shoulders, right? (Luke thinks for a moment) And you have to catch me first."

Tuhan punches Luke causing luke to fall off of him, Tuhan runs down the street dodging cars and trucks while Luke races after him dodging cars and trucks as well. Tuhan runs towards a dead end with a skyscraper in his way, he looks back at Luke while he begins running up the building as Luke stops running. People stop and pull out their phones and record him looking around, he steps back a little and runs towards the building. He goes through the building's windows and brick. Tuhan on the other side stops and looks up for Luke only to be met with Luke running through the building punching Tuhan in the abdomen knocking the wind out of him. Tuhan falls to a knee coughing up blood, Luke knees him in the face knocking him to the ground.

Luke Harris- "Did you think I couldn't catch up to you?"

Tuhan- (Laughing) "No, I knew you could. That's why moments before the race began I planted a bomb under every seat in the stadium. There are enough explosives in the building to bring the whole thing down and if anyone but myself passes the finish line first the building comes down. (Luke steps back) So, what's it going to be, cousin? Kill me and the whole stadium along with your family or let me walk away and save your family. The choice is yours."

Luke Begins thinking for a moment.
