Park Jinyoung was a fifth year Ravenclaw at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

Some people might say he's stuck up, and they were completely right. Jinyoung didn't see anything wrong with being stuck up though.

He only had one friend (if you could even consider him a friend when he was more of an associate than anything) and his name was Mark Tuan. Mark was interesting to talk to (the two always found themselves in long conversations that went deep into the night) but he was also on the Quidditch team, and good friends with Jackson Wang from Gryffindor, so he had a lot to improve upon in Jinyoung's eyes.

Jinyoung never found himself particularly wishing for friends, though he would admit it would be nice to talk to someone who shared common interests on a daily basis.

He sat at the Ravenclaw table as usual, eating his dinner silently. The other Ravenclaws held friendly debates and discussed the news, or just talked simply to be talking (something Jinyoung despised), but Jinyoung kept to himself as always. Mark had a nasty habit of wandering off during meal times to go associate with his out-of-house friends (as if he didn't see them enough during break times, on weekends, and in class), leaving Jinyoung by himself.

Jinyoung didn't have much ambition. He was good in school (in fact he was great), yet he still didn't know what the hell he wanted to do after he graduated.

He liked reading; perhaps he would be a writer. But what would he write about? He had no idea. It seemed everything else had already been put on pen and paper and there was nothing else left for Jinyoung to contribute.

"Hey, Jinyoung."

The Ravenclaw looked up, furrowing his brows at his friend. Mark smiled at him, and next to him was Jackson, ever present by the boy's side. Jinyoung would say he was surprised, but no one was at that point.

"May I help you?", Jinyoung asked, setting his fork down. He winced as Jackson punched him on the shoulder in a way that was much too friendly for people who definitely weren't friends.

"You're coming to the Quidditch game tomorrow, right?"

Jinyoung rolled his eyes. He hated Quidditch.

"Why would I ever?"

Jackson and Mark pouted. "Come on Jinyoung, it's a big game. You have to come, at least to support me", Mark begged.

Out of all the positions in that horrid game, Mark played Seeker, the one that Jinyoung found most respectable.

"It's a possibility", Jinyoung mumbled unhappily.

Jackson and Mark cheered and the other Ravenclaw shot them a warning glare.

"So who do you think's gonna win? Me or Mark?", Jackson asked eagerly. Jinyoung didn't even have to think before answering.

"Mark."

Jackson frowned and Mark grinned. "I told you, that's one more tally for me."

Jackson used his wand to draw a tally in the air under a line that said Mark's name. There were already several rallies next to it. On the other side of a line was Jackson's name, also filled with tallies. Jinyoung scoffed at it, slightly amused that they were wasting their time on such a useless game.

"Thanks Jinyoung! I'll see you after dinner!", Mark called out, already running off with Jackson. Jinyoung shook his head at the two, turning back to his food.
