Chapter 3

*Lukes POV*

I can't believe the way I acted towards Cal.. I mean he's my best mate.. I should have told him.

[To:Cal!]

Cal.. I'm sorry for flipping out on you today.. Can you come to my house I need to talk to you about something? Please?

[From:Cal!]

Luke it's okay mate I forgive you. And sure I'm on my way be there in 10

I put up my phone and tried to think of what I was going to say to him.

When I was deep in thought Cal came into my room and flopped on my bed. I was the first to speak,

"Hey Cal, so I have something important to tell you"

"Okay Lukey, I'm all ears"

I took a deep breath before I confessed my feelings for him,

"Okay.. Well Calum.. The reason I didn't tell you I was gay until now is because I like you.. I like you a lot. I've liked you ever since I saw you two years ago. I can't stop thinking about you Cal. I know you like Ashton and even if you didn't I would never have a chance with you..."

I trailed off not knowing what to say. Calum looked at me and grabbed my hand and then spoke,

"Oh Luke.. I didn't know you felt this way.. I'm sorry I didn't see the signs earlier. Listen.. I like you too.. I just didn't know how to tell you. I mean sure I like Ashton but not at much as I like you. Luke you're perfect"

I could believe what I was hearing. So I slowly leaned in and connected our lips. The kiss was filled with emotions and love. As cliché as it sounds I felt sparks and fireworks.

I think I may just be in love with Calum.

I broke away from the kiss only to ask him one question,

"Calum Thomas Hood will you be my boyfriend?"

"Yes! Of course Lukey!" He jumped at me and hugged me so tight I couldn't breathe. I whispered I love you hoping he wouldn't hear me.. I was wrong..

He looked at me and spoke,

"Wait.. Luke you love me..."

"Erm.. I-I you weren't supposed to hear that Cal.."

"Lukey, it's okay.. I-I think I might.. Erm love you too.."

"Calum, it's okay if you don't love me back.. I'm okay I promise"

"Luke, I'm sorry, I don't love you yet.. I like you a lot though.."

He kissed me again and then got up and started to walk towards the door. Before he left he said,

"Bye babe, text me?"

I nodded and waved at him as he left.

As soon as he left I pulled out my phone and changed his contact name from 'Cal!' To 'My babe Cal<3'
