Present time(2018)

The song stops and I can sense  Gemma watching me cautiously.

I take a deep breath and look up at her.

"That was probably the hardest one yet." I say hearing my voice crack as I speak.

"So did that really happen or did he just need lyrics for the song?" She asks me looking like she has been waiting for a long time to ask me this question.

"Did what really happen?" I ask her confused of what she is talking about. "Obviously I did leave him in the hallway Gem, I mean you know that."

She rolls her eyes at me as if what she is asking me is completely obvious.

"Okay you have got to help me out here Gem,I'm lost." I finally say after she sits there a few minutes waiting for my answer.

"Oh my God Skyler, honestly." She sighs. "Did you guys really do it?"

Oh. That's what she meant. I mentally hit myself for it taking me that long to realize what she was asking me.

"Oh." I feel my face getting hot. "Uhm...Yeah we Did." I stutter while talking.

"Oh my God! Why didn't you tell me about this? When did this happen? How did it happen? I cannot believe I didn't know about this! This is huge, no it's bigger than huge it's...well yeah it's huge!" Gemma goes absolutely nuts.

"Gemma you need to calm down."

"But Townes?" She whines. "Please at least tell me something...please." I sighed in defeat and think back to that night.

That night.

The literal best night in my entire life.

I think back to the abandoned bookstore and a smile appears on my face that was displeased just seconds ago.

"What? What is that smile about?" Gemma asks me through an excited smirk.

I groan and roll my eyes at her.

"I was thinking about that day." I smile again still reliving it. "Um, while you were out taking Raine to the hospital, Harry took me to this abandoned book store kind of place. It was honestly the most beautiful place I have ever been."

"Really?" Gemma grimaces. "The most beautiful place that you've ever been is an abandoned book store? You really need to get out more." I glare at her after she says this. "Sorry uhm continue."

"Well we just hung out there most of the day and then when we got back to the apartment, it just kinda happened." I look up from my fiddling hands to see Gemma making an awe face at my little story that she just heard. "Oh don't be fooled. It was good and all and he was very gentle, but that next morning was when I found out about...you know, everything."

"Wait...so this happened the night before you guys broke up? No! That's awful Skyler I'm so sorry." She says genuinely.

"Yeah it's not easy losing your virginity to someone who you later find out lied about something so serious literally your whole relationship." I tell her standing up from the sofa, walking over to grab a water bottle out of the fridge.

"Look, I don't know what it's going to take to get you to talk to Harry again, but I mean.." She waves her hands around in the air. "He is literally begging you in front of the whole world. I think that it is safe to say he has learned his lesson."

I don't say anything, I just take a sip of my water and sit back down on the sofa.

I hear Gemma sigh from the floor. I know that I should probably talk to him again, but it has been so long and I mean he is so different now. He has all these fans and he is traveling the world playing songs that he wrote. Songs that just happen to be about me.

I'm starting to realize how ridiculous this grudge is, but I can't just call him. If I do that he will think I am just letting him take me back, and I cannot do that.

I hear a ding come from the kitchen and remember that I put brownies in the oven a little while ago.

I look at the stove and notice that it is already 12:38am. I cannot believe that I have spent a whole day moping over songs.

As I am getting the warm desserts out of the hot oven, I hear Gemma say something from the living room.

"Oh My God!" She practically yells. I run into the living room thinking that something bad is happening, but when I look at the direction she is staring, I see a familiar, yet more matured face on the television.

"Is that?"

"Yep." Gemma says popping the p at the end of the word.

"Oh my God, I can't believe he cut his hair!" I say in disbelief seeing that his hair is so much shorter than the last time I saw him.

"Yeah, none of us could, he gave it to a charity though." Gemma replied.

I sit down beside her and pay attention to the TV.

The show that is on is the Late Late Show which is usually run by James Corden, but instead of James walking out of the purple curtains it is Harry.

Apparently Harry has become really close with James and when James' wife went into labor, he asked Harry to host the show for him.

Watching Harry crack jokes and act all cheeky, reminded me of how much I have missed the playful side of Harry that I once knew. And it looks as of now, he is back.

Gemma and I sit there laughing and giggling at how natural Harry looks as a TV host.

When the show ends, Gemma looks at me.

"You know what happens next?" She asks me smiling.

"What?"

"Pick a song." She simply says handing me my phone from the coffee table where it was sitting.

"Gem, seriously it's one in the morning and I am so tired." I whine.

"Come on, you only have two songs left to listen to." She says trying to convince me. "Please?" She adds sweetly.

I stare at her in disbelief and then snatch my phone out of her hands and look through the songs finding the last two.

I contemplate which one to choose before just clicking one without any more thought.

The beautiful music begins coming from my speaker for the ninth time today.

"Okay I know I've said this almost every time, but this one is definitely my favorites." Gemma says closing her eyes and swaying to the melody.

I laugh silently at her and close my eyes listening to the message that Harry is trying to get to me.

Same lips red, same eyes blue, same white shirt couple more tattoos, but it's not you and it's not me.
