One week later, and my classes are all great. I like my academic writing class the best, but it is my last class of the day I at least have something to look forward to all day.

I am walking to class after having to clean up a breakfast spill from earlier this morning, and realize that I am late. I speed to class and make it just in time. I didn't know anyone in my classes yet, so I sit in the back beside a random girl with red hair.

The day dragged by slowly and when I get to the final class, I notice that someone is in my usual seat. I walk up to him and tap him on his shoulder.

He turns around I realize that it is the rude long haired guy who had bumped into me on the sidewalk on my first day in New York. It doesn't seem like he recognizes me, so I pretend that I don't know who he is.

"Hi... um you... uh you're kind of in my seat," I say as nicely as I can.

He glares at me and then smirks. He doesn't say a word, he just turns around and stays there. I don't want to cause a scene, so I just sit in a seat that is a little further away.

I can't believe this. I was already having a bad day before that and this class was the one thing that I was looking forward to all day. How could I let that jerk ruin it for me?

"Please, could you just move over one?" I ask in a sweet tone that I rarely use.

He looks back at me and scoffs.

"Come on princess this is not elementary school," He says rolling his eyes and turning around. "This is College, so grow up."

He is in the seat that I have grown to love because it was in the very front of the class where I could see and hear everything that my professor said clearly. I couldn't concentrate the rest of that class. When it was over, I stomped out of the room glaring at the green eyed jerk.

I get to my apartment and see that Raine is not back yet, so I change into some more comfortable clothes and sit on the white sofa and begin reading my book. After I had read only two chapters, the door opens. Raine walks in with shopping bags in her hands.

"Hey! I went on a little shopping spree after class," She says chuckling.

I look and then ignore her because I'm not in the mood. "Who peed in your Cheerios?" She asks causing me to smile.

"I'm just not having a very good day," I say walking over to the kitchen table that she is putting her bags on. I sit at the bar and sigh.

"Why whats wrong?"

"Well, to start off my day, I spilled coffee on my shirt and had to come back here to change causing me to almost show up late for my first class. Then I get to my chemistry class just to find out that I failed the exam from Wednesday. And to top all of that some jerk got in my seat in my academic writing class, so I had to sit in the back where I couldn't pay attention as well," I say, talking so fast that I didn't seem to breathe until I was done.

"Oh honey, it's okay tomorrow will be a better day," She says patting my shoulder. "How about we eat some of this?" She asks as she pulls out a tub of rocky road ice cream from one of her grocery bags. I smile before hugging her and walking to the drawer to get a spoon.

The rest of that afternoon we hung out learning more about each other while eating ice cream.

"That guy that got my seat in my academic reading class ran into me when you were showing me around in New York," I tell her "He's the one that I called rude."

"Get used to it Sky...can I call you Sky?" She asks.

"Sure," a small smile makes its way to my face. "My Dad used to call me that before he died," I say sadly "My grandma calls me Townes," I tell her laughing.

"Why Townes?" She looks confused at this.

"My middle name is Townesly and she came up with a shorter version of it and it just kinda stuck." She nods and closes the tub of ice cream. "Well Townes, get used to it people are rude and that's just life."

"Yeah I know," I say

"We are going to have to hide all our ice cream when Harry gets here." She says laughing. "He will eat it all."

"When is he coming again?" I ask, remembering that her cousin will be staying with us for a while.

"He's isn't supposed to come until next Friday, but who knows with him he is so unpredictable." She says rolling her eyes.

The next morning is a Saturday so I finally have a break from school. I wake up at 7:30 and go to the kitchen to get some breakfast.

Raine isn't a morning person so it is no shock that she is still in bed. I decide to go shopping and explore New York a little more.

I write Raine a note and leave it on the counter. I decide to take the bus instead of walking or taking a cab. When I get on the bus, I immediately regret it when I see the green eyed jerk from my academic writing class sitting there glaring at me.
