- Gabriel
"Reggie, wake up." I whispered, shaking him lightly. After watching I don't know how many movies and eating countless snacks, we all fell asleep here in the den. The night was fine, except for Essence's occasional complaint on something and Stacie constantly giggling as she and Kylan felt on eachother.
"Yea, wassup?" He asked, his eyes still closed.
"Come help me make breakfast." I got up from the couch and grabbed his arm, pulling him up.
"Ight, Gab I'm comin." He said as he got up from the couch. We went to the kitchen and pulled out all that we needed: oatmeal, bacon, french toast sticks, and hash browns. "How am I suppose to cook these?" He asked, holding up the bag of hash browns.
"Just put them in a bowl and add water. The instructions are on the back of the bag, duh." I replied.
"Haha." He laughed sarcastically. I grabbed my phone and turned on Chris Brown radio on Pandora.
"Arggh, that's bae!" I said when Don't Judge Me by Chris Brown came on.
"Ha, nah I'm bae." Reggie said, grabbing me by the hands. He pulled me close to him, our faces only centimeters apart. We stayed that way for a while, our lips getting closer and closer.
"Reggie, my french toast sticks are burning." I said, breaking the moment. He sighed and turned back to the hash browns. I put a cup of water in the microwave, then started on the bacon. I cut the oven off to keep the french toast sticks from burning, but stay warm, then microwave went off. "Reggie, could you fix the oatmeal please?" I asked.
"Yea." He grabbed the water, some butter and some milk, and fixed the big bowl of oatmeal while I finished the bacon.
"Wake y'all nappy headed asses up and come eat something!" I yelled to everybody in the den. They got up and stretched, then came into the kitchen.
"Gabriel, it's like 8am." Kylan complained as he sat at the table with his food.
"I know, but I figured we could get an early start today. What y'all wana do?"
"Well I gotta work, but we can do something when I get off." Reggie said, taking a bite into the sorry hash browns he made.
"Yea, I gotta work too." Essence chimed in. I mentally rolled my eyes, of course they work on the same day. She better not get caught slipping. Reggie ain't mine, but he's mine and he knows it.
"Well I guess it's just you, me and Kylan." Stacie said, giving Kylan a look. I laughed a bit.
"Yea I guess so." We finished eating and Reggie had to leave to get ready for work. I walked out of the house to the porch, as Essence walked past us and left in her car. I peeped the bitch slick mugging me, but I left it alone.
"Guess I'll see you later." I said, turning to walk of the porch. I was near the door when Reggie grabbed my wrist.
"Wait girl," he said. "that ain't the right way to tell me bye." I laughed and folded my arms.
"So what am I suppose to do then?"
"Kiss me." He said. I busted out laughing.
"Boy, you must be smoking dick." He laughed.
"Girl, shut up and kiss me." He gabbed my waist and pulled me close to him. I looked down at his full lips and couldn't help myself.
"Fine." I whispered, kissing him rough, but passionately at the same time. We kissed for what felt like eternity, then I heard a car pull up. I didn't bother to look, because I didn't care. The kiss was too good.
