* 2 MONTHS LATER *

(November 14th)

- Gabriel

It's been two months since I started staying with Reggie, and they've been some of the best months of my life. I haven't talked to Wade since the day I packed up and left him, and from what I've heard, he isn't doing too well. Amber hasn't been the topic of anyone's conversation neither, and even after calling her multiple times, I still haven't heard from her. But that's her, and she won't be in my daughter's life, just like Wade.

"It's alright, babygirl. That daughter of yours will still have a father figure in her life." Reggie assured me as we left from my last doctor's appointment, and I believe every word. Even up to this day, he's truly shown his love for my unborn daughter; he's bought her diapers, bottles, wipes, onesies, socks, bibs, Et Cetera, and takes me to every doctor's appointment. I literally don't know what I'd do without him, considering the fact that I walked out on Wade and wouldn't have had anywhere to go.

"You ready, Gabriel?" Reggie asked me.

"Yea, just let me grab my purse." I replied, grabbing my purse then following closely behind him out of the apartment.

"You look cute today." He complimented me. I blushed.

"Thanks. You lookin' kinda snazzy yourself. Now remind me again why we're doing this." I said as I climbed into the car.

"Cause you need to be able to drive yourself to the hospital just in case I'm not home when you go into labor."

"But why'd we have to do this today?" I asked.

"April twentieth is gonna come a lot quicker than you think." I shook my head and looked out of the window.

"I already know how to drive, you know?" I mumbled.

"You can't drive around without a license forever, Gabriel."

"Fine." I left the conversation alone and turned on my phone, only to be shown a picture of Wade and I kissing. I barfed in my mouth a little. Why haven't I changed this shit yet? I asked myself, opening up my gallery. I clicked on a picture of Chris Brown and set is as my lockscreen, then opened up my music app. I grabbed the AUX cord and plugged it into my phone, which began to play 'Freak No More' by Migos.

She's a stripper naked dancer but she's begging me to wife her, (No!)

Reggie and I were were both rapping like hell, and the music was blasting. After numerous Migos songs and a few Rich Homie Quan's as well, we finally pulled up at the Driver's License and Motor Vehicle Service Center in Nassau. I grabbed my things and watched as Reggie raced to my side of the car to help me out. I laughed and walked with him to the door of the building.
