Same name
Starting over again
Nobody knows who you are
Or where you've come from
Just that you're here now
And that you're in their lives
What does that mean?
It means you have an impression to make
To all the people who you think will matter to you
They are the people who will make your life bearable for the next few years
If you don't have those shoulders
You will have nothing to lean on
No one to hold
No one to love
And no one to love you
Is that the life you want
Alone and secluded from the world
No, it isn't
You want the comfort of a friend
The affection of a lover
And the closeness of family
But how often does anyone really get all of that
For I would say it's quite rare
It's sad how little of us are satisfied with our lives
And how little of us live life to the extent that we wish we did
But even so
Be that small percentage
Be the outlier
Be successful
And be who you are
You will achieve
