Izuku felt ill the next time he woke up and remembered what happened. He ignored his screaming body and ran to the next best bathroom – to throw up over the toilet.
These eyes. Dead, lifeless, blank eyes.
This man was now dead. Because of him. What was his quirk?! Yeah, All For One, but.. was it different than his father's quirk? Does his father kill too when he takes a quirk? Had he lied to him the day where he told him what his quirk was?
He shook his head. He wouldn't. That was his father he was talking about. But he is a villain, the leader at that, it wouldn't be so hard to lie to his own son, right? He shook his head again. He shouldn't think like this. Yes, his father was a villain leader, but he hadn't lie to him once.
Also, even if quirks are inherited from their parents.. they're at least a little bit different, right? Even if his difference seemed a little bit overkill. Literally.
Second, Izuku would've discovered it sooner or later if his father had lied. Today – how long was he unconscious? – would've been dangerous if Izuku ever saw his father's quirk in action.
Footsteps – who was coming? Izuku hoped they would just go by but he did run through the hallway to get to a bathroom. And if they wanted to visit him, well..
"Izuku?" Damn. He picked up too many words from the villains and from Bakugou, didn't he?
Izuku wiped his mouth with toilet paper and threw it into the toilet, before trying – emphasis on trying – to stand up again. "Ugh.." He instantly regretted letting out a sound. His father came rushing into the bathroom.
"Oh my god Izuku! You threw up?! Can you stand up? Oh my god, I'm sorry I wasn't there when you woke up" Again went unsaid. Izuku smiled a little at his father – also remembering that his father basically forced him to kill – as he helped him stand up.
"It's okay," answered Izuku as softly as he possibly could. "You couldn't have known that I woke up"
"I was away for two minutes and you wake up? Pretty bad luck, huh?" His father chuckled sadly at that.
Now Izuku was the one who felt bad. Even if it was his father who let him alone. And Izuku couldn't possibly have predicted that he would wake up in these two minutes now, could he?
When Izuku wanted to walk and let out a pained sound, his father decided to carry him to his room. "H-Hey! I can walk on my own!" protested Izuku, but they both knew that it was better the way Hisashi decided it.
"You know you can't," said Hisashi to him, eyebrows furrowing.
Hisashi put him into the bed and sat beside him on a chair. "I'm sorry," he said after a while.
Izuku blinked at him. For what exactly was he apologizing?
"I couldn't have known that your All For One is like ... that. I would've waited a few years if I had known," explained Hisashi.
Oh, that.
"It's okay.. I don't hold it against you," lied Izuku. It was totally not okay. It's going to look totally great on his hero license: Killed human who didn't do anything – well, he attacked someone from the League – with the age of eight.
He wouldn't have to tell anyone, sure, but... could he do it? Could he keep it a secret when he was surrounded of heroes and future heroes? Well, assuming he got into U.A that is. He could dream, right? Even as the son of a dangerous villain?
But he didn't lie about the part that he didn't hold it against his father – his father couldn't have known that he would kill the man – except he lied.
No, no! Bad brain!
He father looked sceptical for a moment, then smiled at him and ruffled his hair. "Thank you Izuku"

He was alone again. His father said he would stay with him, then Kurogiri came and said something about someone being here and that this someone was waiting for his father and then his father said that no, he wanted to stay with his son today and it took both Kurogiri – who was pretty persistent for some reason – and Izuku to actually convince him to leave after about ten minutes.
Aaaaaaaaaaand he forgot to ask something important, he realized after a while. How long had he slept? Three hours like last time? Unlikely.
Why wasn't there a clock in this room? He urgently needed to ask his father to buy him a phone.
Five, maybe six hours? He couldn't check it. No windows, no clock. Izuku sighed. He hated to do nothing. Could he call Shigaraki or Beast over?
No, Shigaraki was probably training with Jishin right now, he couldn't interrupt that.
Beast? Oh wait, no, he was on a mission.
Great. Just great.
It looked like he had time to think about his All For One now.
So, there was this warm feeling of a quirk – what was terrifying in itself, he was like hypnotized for a second there – and he searched for it in that .. man's body.
He tried to not think about him after he died, he would surely throw up again. But then he remembered that there were still more worse deaths out there that he had yet to see – and would surely if he wanted to be a hero – he would see more deaths either way, if he would be a hero or not didn't matter, his father was a villain. Did that make him a villain too? He just settled with the fact that he would – hero or not – see brutal deaths in the future – if he was happy about it or not.
And then he just kind of pulled at that feeling when he found it, right? He imagined how the quirk would be transferred to him and pulled. Exhaustion, .... and then he blacked out.
But the problem was: He didn't feel any different than before. He should have some kind of oxygen manipulation quirk, right? He couldn't feel it.
Then he remembered the gun villain and shuddered. He, he had killed him too, right? How had he escaped otherwise?
He remembered the cut off sentence from the news a week ago before Kurogiri turned the TV off. ("And lastly for today: Gun villain found d–") It made sense now. So the gun quirk was his own now? He cursed himself for not being able to tell if he had the other quirks too.
But more importantly:
That made him an 8-year-old serial murderer, right? And someone like him wanted to be a hero?
