4-First Day At The Jackson Home

Percy's POV

*DING DONG*

"MOMMM, SHE'S HERE,” Tyson shouted from upstairs.

"Percy honey, could you answer the door please?"

I groaned, why me? She's not my tutor..

I answered the door and found myself face to face with one of Katie's friends from yesterday, the one that was holding a book.  I was glad it wasn't one of those obsessive girls and this girl seemed pretty interesting.

"Um is Sally here?" She asked me awkwardly.

"Uh yeah she's what I would like to call my 'mother'" That took her by surprise, which was extremely funny from my point of view.

"Oh. Um okay"

"What's your name again?"

"Annabeth"

"Percy. " I said, extending my hand out, which she shook. I called my mom and she came to great Annabeth.

"Oh hi Annabeth, welcome home!" She gestured for her to come in. Annabeth stepped in and looked around. I stared at her. Her hair was tied up in a messy ponytail and a few blonde curls were framing her face perfectly. She looked pretty damn good in her white shorts and a simple red shirt.

"I'm going to be late so Olivia and Tyson are upstairs in their rooms, Percy could you show her around please? Thank you so much for coming, Annabeth" she kissed me goodbye and left through the door, leaving me there with my brother's new tutor.

Annabeth's POV

WHAT! PERCY JACKSON ALSCJWJXUCNQPZUC

How did I not see this coming? Stupid Chase!

Sally just left and we were both standing there awkwardly until he decided to speak up. He started showing me around the whole house. It was pretty big and just perfect for my architectural taste.

He led me upstairs to Tyson's room but his door was closed. Percy knocked a few times until he finally came out. He seemed a little shy but we could work on that.

"Hey Tyson, I'm Annabeth, your new tutor,"

I smiled at him and he smiled back.

Percy then led me to Olivia's room and Tyson followed.

Her room was entirely covered in colors, which surprised me because all other little girls I know have their rooms completely pink. Her room was so colorful and I loved it. Olivia was lying down on her rainbow bed, so we approached her.

"Olive, this is Annabeth, my tutor" Tyson pointed at me and I smiled at her.

"Hiiiiiii," she said, excited "I have so many things planned for us to do! We can have tea parties, makeovers-" Percy cut her off

"Um Annabeth is here mostly for Tyson, so don't get your hopes too high, Lil-O,"

Olivia muttered 'Fine' and she went to play with her dolls. Percy went downstairs and I went with Tyson to his room.

After about an hour of tutoring, I thought he better take a break. Even though he was struggling quite a lot, I noticed he was working very hard and we were able to finish his math homework ( I did most of it but hey, he tried )

"Hey Tyson, I think you should take a break, but you're doing great!"

"No, I'm not, I'm failing so many classes. Mom wont say it but I know she's disappointed" He looked so sad, as if he was disappointed on himself too.

"No, I bet she just worries about you a lot. Look, I'm here so we can work together and trust me, it's going to get better. Now take a break, clear your mind from all the work please" He looked a little bit more relaxed after my motivating words but I knew he was still mad at himself.

We went downstairs so he could get a snack and I noticed Percy closing the door, the Stoll brothers with him.

"Woah what is Chase doing here?" Travis said when he saw me come down the stairs. Tyson went to the kitchen and I stayed to say hi to the twins.

"Well hello to you too, Stoll," I said, smirking

"Uh yeah a little detail I forgot to mention...She's here tutoring my bro," he said, scratching his neck. Honestly, he looked pretty hot like that. He was wearing a plain white v-neck shirt with dark jeans and converse. Travis was wearing a plain green shirt with blue jeans while Connor was wearing the same pair of jeans but with a purple shirt.

"Chase tutoring? Didn't see that one coming" Connor said jokingly and I stuck my tongue out at him, and he did the same.

"Very mature..." Travis said and we both rolled our eyes at him. My phone started ringing and I prayed for it not to be Thalia talking about Nico or something again.

"Hello?" I answered as the guys just stared at me curiously.

"Hey Annie," It was Luke. Oh Gods. I walked away from the guys a bit and leaned on the kitchen counter but I knew they were still listening.

"Oh hey Luke,"

"Um I was just wondering, are you free now?"

"Um actually, I'm tutoring right now sorryy,"

"Oh sorry, um we'll leave it for another time,"

"Yeah, of course,"

"Bye Annie" He said with a sweet voice and hang up. Ugh I just missed a date with a great guy. I noticed all 3 guys staring at me so I frowned at them.

"What?"

"Was that Luke Castellan?" Travis asked

"Yeah...do you know him?"

"Isn't he the dude that cheated on his girlfriend with Drew?" Percy asked

"Yeahh, that's him," Travis said "Are you close to him?"

"Yeah pretty close, he wanted to hang out."

"Well if what Percy said about him cheating on Drew, I recommend you don't get too close to him..." Connor said. Anyway, I'm not believing this Luke thing until I get proof.

"Didn't he just move here? When did this all happen?" I asked the guys

"Oh no this happened in San Francisco, Drew went there over the summer and that's when it happened," Travis said

"I'm not even going to ask how you know all this but from what I know, Reyna is the one that cheated on her boyfriend," all their eyes' opened wide as I said this. I forgot they were all close to Jason, crap.

"What?" Percy asked

"Uh nothing,"

And since they are boys with stupid brains, they didn't seem to care anymore. The thing is, Rachel told me that Reyna told her that she broke up with Jason because she cheated on him with Octavian. She felt too guilty to keep going with the relationship so she ended it. Rachel found out because Octavian told her. It's a complicated story but hey, rumours travel quickly.

Tyson had gone to watch TV after eating, while I was on the phone. I went over to him and told him it was time to get back to work. I couldn't stop thinking about what Percy said about Luke...
