"What did he mean by that, Annabeth?" He asked

"I don't know, you tell me," I told him but he looked confused.

"Wait is that why you were avoiding me?" I looked away and bit my lip.

"Why don't you go ask your friend Calypso?" I told him, and realization hit him.

"Are you talking about," He stopped and scratched his neck, "When Calypso kissed me?" I nodded, "How could you possibly have seen that? You were sick that day,"

"So you kissed her the day I was sick so I wouldn't catch you or what? Or maybe what happened that day at your house meant nothing to you," I answered coldly.

"No, Annabeth, you don't understand it,"

"I think I understand what happened perfectl-" He cut me off.

"Annabeth, just listen to me. I swear I can explain," I looked him in the eyes, and let him explain, "So Calypso told me to meet her after school at her locker because she had something important to tell me so I went and she admitted that she was never over me and then she just kissed me. But I pulled away instantly and told her I liked someone else; you. She tried to kiss me again but I walked away. I knew if you found out, it would be horrible so that's why I didn't tell you, but I guess someone else did... Annabeth, I'm really sorry for hiding it from you but believe me when I say, I like you and only you. And you avoiding me was just complete torture. Please, please, say you forgive me." I thought about it for a while.

"It hurt a lot, you know? Seeing you with Calypso, after what happened between us," I felt so vulnerable admitting this, but if I didn't tell him now, then when? I wanted him to know exactly what I had gone through.

"Am I sensing a bit of jealousy, Wise Girl?" He smirked and I hit him lightly. "So?" He asked, "Am I forgiven?" I bit my lip, but he said: "I swear on the River Styx that it won't happen again, and I know that I love you, Annabeth Chase. You're one of the best things that happened to me, and believe me when I say, that I am truly sorry."

After I didn't say anything for a while, he repeated, "Please?"

I rolled my eyes and nodded. A wide grin appeared on his face and his green eyes twinkled with happiness.

"You look amazing tonight, by the way," He smirked and I blushed.

"You just can't take your eyes off me, can you, Seaweed Brain?" I joked

"Not my fault you're so beautiful," I blushed and he winked at me. He started dancing weirdly and I laughed at him, then he took my hand and I joined him. We kept dancing for a long time but we got tired and decided to take a break. I went looking for my friends to tell them that Percy and I were fine. I found Piper and Jason kissing on the couch and Thalia was dancing with Nico. I didn't want to bother Piper when they were kissing and Thalia looked so happy so I went back to Percy who was talking to the DJ. Suddenly, a slow song came on. Percy looked at me and extended his hand out for me to take.

"May I have this dance?" He asked.

"Yes, you may." I answered and took his hand. We started dancing and for once, I felt like a princess from a fairytale book, and Percy was like my fairytale prince.

His hands were on my waist and mine were on his shoulders. He wouldn't stop staring at me and I blushed, then he whispered 'I'm so lucky to be here with you' on my ear and I blushed even more. I smiled at him and we kept dancing until the song was over. Instead of breaking apart when the song finished, he pulled me closer and kissed me again. It was a gentle, loving kiss, and I knew right then, that he really meant every single word he said earlier. We pulled apart even though I would've kissed him again. He took my hand and we sat down on one of the couches.

Percy had one arm around me and the other one was holding my hand. Thalia and Nico walked by, also holding hands. When Thalia saw me with Percy, she gasped and I nodded at her. She understood right away, then winked at me and ran away with Nico.

I also noticed Katie dancing with Travis, and Grover with his new girlfriend, Juniper.

The party was over soon and Thalia, Piper, Jason, Percy and me were the only ones left. Percy and Jason were sleeping over at Nico's and we were helping them clean up a bit. It was around midnight when Piper said we should probably go. Jason whispered something on Piper's ear and she giggled. Nico kissed Thalia on the cheek and she said good night to him.

Percy came up to me and kissed me one last time. I bit my lip and walked out the door with my friends.

It was the best night of my life.
