3-A Tutor Helps Your Future

Percy's POV

"But momm!" I complained (again). Mom wanted to hire some random tutor to help Tyson because he was failing some classes, but I was completely against that. I think I can help him myself, we don't need a random tutor.

"I told you I can help him, I'm old enough!"

"And I told you that she wont only tutor Tyson, she will also babysit Olivia and maybe even clean the house! I do not know yet but Percy I just got promoted and I will be spending less time at home and you know that! I'm going to be needing some help and come on, you cannot do the dishes. You can't tutor Tyson either! End of story."

I groaned.

"Mom, what if the person turns out as a thief? What if they kidnap us?" I knew that wasn't going to happen but I had to try.

"Percy seriously?"

She glared at me and I just shrugged.

"Besides, I think she goes to your school..." She said suspiciously.

"Wait it's a 'she'?" I asked her. Who could possibly want to tutor a 12 year old kid at our age??

"Mom, what if it's one of those crazy girls that are using Tyson and Olivia to get to me?" I'm not even that popular but it did happen to me once, don't ask, it's a terrible story I will not repeat.

"Percy that's enough. I'm going to meet her today and see if she's good enough."

And with that, she left the house. Looking at the bright side, I wont have to take care of my siblings or do house chores. I guess it might not be that bad after all.

Annabeth's POV

"Annabeth," Sally said "you're hired!"

"Oh my Gods thank you so so much!"

I applied for a job as a tutor for a 12 years old boy called Tyson, apparently, he was failing a lot of his classes. I needed the money for university and I thought it might be pretty fun. Also, it's a way to get away from my annoying brothers.

"So Annabeth, I just want you to know, it won't be good for Tyson to tutor him all the time at once so if you could be patient, give him breaks, let him do other things, that would be wonderful,"

"Of course!"

"Oh Annabeth, you're a real lifesaver. I've got to run to work but see you tomorrow at 4:30 yes?"

"Yup, I'll be there at 4:25"

She laughed lightly, said goodbye, and then left the store. My phone started buzzing and I saw Thalia was calling.

"Hey Thals,"

"Guess what! Okay don't, Jason and Reyna broke up!" Even though us 2 are the less girly girls in our friend group, we still gossip about everyone together.

"Yeahh, I heard..." Oops I forgot to tell her about that "I didn't tell you because I had a job interview right after school, I'm sorry Thals" I apologized in my sweetest voice possible

"Ugh whatever I told Piper and she got so happy!" Thalia was obsessed with Nico Di Angelo and Piper with Jason Grace so of course she would be happy he's single again.

"Now tell me about that job interview!"

"Oh yeah I got hired! I'm going to be half tutoring, starting tomorrow"

"Oh joy" She said sarcastically

"I know it's gonna be fun and besides, I need the money. Anyway, I gotta run home or my step-monster will get mad at me... Talk to you later, ok?"
