Those who went with Jaha never heard the end of the city of light, but when everyone gave up or died and few remained, including Murphy and Angela, the two survived pretty well as they wanted a new start and they got that from the bunker but days after Jaha explained what the City is and what its like.
As the weeks passed and everyone back at camp Jaha, Murphy was to get 50 lashes for crimes he committed till Angela told Kane she would take his place only if Murphy was not to be touched again by anyone as she saw it unfair for him to be hurt and not Bellamy after all he did kick the box under Murphy.
Angela looked at Murphy smiling a bit as she took the 50 lashes to her back as she soon passed out exhausted and from blood loss, the hours passed by as she soon woke up quiet weak as she sees her lover resting his head on the bed next to her as she smiles a bit softly as she gently runs her fingers through his hair before pulling the little chip out that Jaha had given her as she mumbles softly to herself "No more pain if I take it" she looked at it a bit before she takes it fully "I cant tell John" she whispered
"Tell John what hm?" Murphy asked softly as he yawns kissing Angelas forehead gently as he sits up "how are you feeling and also why did you do that?" He asked softly
Angela sighs softly "I'm alright and because John you didn't deserve to be hurt like that... you already went through a lot" she whispered softly smiling a bit as Murphy sighs "Don't ever do something like that again my sunshine" he said softly kissing her gently.
Soon days, weeks, months have passed Murphy began to noticed that Angela has been acting very different ever since the lashings, as he walked over to her "Angela you've been off the past couple months.. are you okay?" He asked softly resting his hand on her shoulder gently.
Angela turned around to look at him her face a bit blank "Huh.. oh yeah I'm fine John I've just been tired it's nothing to worry about it dear" she replied softly kissing his cheek softly before going back to sharpening her knife.
"Angela you took it didn't you? Why? Angie I though you weren't going to.. just why?" Murphy asked as he grabbed her arm pulling her to look back him "Just please explain to me why?" as Angela blinked a couple times before pulling her arm away "John I'm sick and tired of constantly being in pain, it hurt's from you being hanged to the mountain men , the desert , the bunker and then the lashes... I deserve to be pain free you don't know what it's like to live with my pain and my suffering!!!" She stated snapping as she starts to walk off "Just let me be, I'm going for a walk don't bother following I need to be alone." she said softly walking out the tent not looking back behind her.
Murphy sighs as he runs his fingers through his hair as he got up packing a bag before setting it down by the bed pacing a bit around "My sunshine...isn't the same anymore " he mumbled before sitting down waiting for Angela to come back.
The sun soon settled down as Angela came back into the tent seeing Murphy was fast asleep, as she walked over to the bed sitting down as Murphy woke up a bit "Angela... I'm sorry alright your just different and I just can't stand seeing you like this.. I already almost lost you to the grounders" he mumbled as he pulls her down to lay beside him as Angela lays her head on him sighing softly "Just sleep John, I'll be alright..I don't need to fight you my heads killing me because of her.."she muttered softly as she looked across the tent at the woman who stood there telling her different things before going quiet.
"Oh Angela you're here to get rid of pain you don't even feel that headache plus you need to get back to work, we have a lot to do..I need your to help make more people join us" A.L.I.E stated calmly looking over at her as she hand her hands in-front of her.
"You leave tomorrow with Jaha and you're leaving him behind, he is just going to interrupt everything we have done and we don't need a distraction to stop us" she stated referring to Murphy as Angela nodded a bit waving her off as she soon fell asleep a bit distant from Murphy leaving space between them, when morning soon came Murphy woke to Angela no longer being in bed or the tent for that matter, as he noticed her stuff gone as well, he runs out of the tent looking around before going to Bellamy "Bell have you seen Angela if so where did she go?" He asked clearly worried.
"Last time I saw her was last night coming in from where ever she was, never saw her ever leave this morning but I mean I wasn't even on watch Pike and them were" Bellamy stated as he looked away sighing a bit "Ill be in the ark if you need me" he stated getting up and leaving.
Murphy sighs softly as he walks over to Pike "Pike did you see Angela leave this morning?" He asked
"Yes but she was with Jaha and them heading to Polis I think, not sure they didn't say much, hurry and get there if you want" Pike stated as Murphy nodded grabbing his packed bag and headed out and so began his journey on getting back to Angela.
