"So you are not attending the exam?" Aju asked out.

"I have told you a thousand times I have an important meeting." Eby ran a hand through his hair feeling disgusted.

"Come on Eby. This is just about your party union and you are skipping the internals for that?"

"You know what? I'm doing p.g here not for the academic purpose but only for my political activities. So, I just don't care about exams and all." Eby stated out.

"I know it well. But I'm feeling some kind of pain thinking that I'm going to write this exam without you." Aju showed one of his sad faces.

"Listen, this is only between us, okay?"

"Yeah. Hey! Anjali." Eby followed his eyes to meet the most familiar face.

Anjali narrowed her eyes, keenly observing him.

"Uhm.. Anjali.. I'm.. " Eby begged for words and remained silent when she turned back and left him.

"Hey, what happened? Did I say something wrong?" Aju asked innocently.

"You always say wrong things at the wrong time."

"What?"

"I promised her that I would write all the exams and now I think I'm gonna pay for this." Eby said before running to her through the veranda.

"Anjali, I'm really sorry." Eby took hold of her hands, making a puppy face.

"Why are you sorry? It's all about you and nothing to do with me. Did you hear it? Nothing!" She pulled back her hand from him.

"I didn't even know what is today's paper. See, I will study well and write rest of the papers. Now okay?"

"Eby, why you are telling all these to me? It's your matter. You write or not. I just don't care!"

"Anjali. Anjali. Anjali...please don't say that. Please."

"And please don't disturb me. I gotta go now." She said before leaving him.

"Erghhh!" Eby groaned out, getting irritated. When he turned back to leave, he bumped into someone.

"Ishaan? Where have you been all these days?" Eby asked Ishaan who was not even facing him.

"Uhm.. I was busy with my officeworks." He blurted.

"Wow! You were busy with works and your dad called us asking your whereabouts." Aju rubbed his chin, making a questioning face.

Ishaan didn't say anything. Telling the truth to them was the last thing he ever wanted.

"Are you okay Ishaan?" Eby pat on his shoulder with much concern.

"Yeah. I'm fine. I will see you later." He walked away leaving them confused.

"I hope everything is fine." Eby said before turning to Aju.

"No Rinu. I can do that." Amaaya took a chair and stood up to take the file kept at a height in their classroom.

"Take care Ainu. I will be here in two minutes." Rinu walked out of the classroom leaving her friend on the chair who was trying to get the file.

"Ohh! This hair." She tucked the hair strands behind her ear. But paused when she felt someone's eyes on her.

She turned to the other side only to get frozen when she met those eyes.

Ishaan.

There was no idea about him since a week. And now he was standing there at the doorway, hands in his pockets, looking devilishly handsome.
