Chapter 23

"How can I say it when the feeling is mutual?" asked Anjali.

Everyone was equaly shocked to hear it. What did she say?

Shifting her gaze from Lenin to Anjali, "Huh?!" Zoya asked.

Anjali lifted up her jaw looking straightly at Zoya and Lenin.

"I love him..."

Those words were able to stop Eby. He leaned at the doorway for some seconds. Then he turned to look her.

The one who gifted him those magical words...

She was already looking him bearing thousands of emotions in her eyes.

Breaking the silence, "Is there any other Eby in our college?" asked Aju. Without even glancing him, Farhan placed his palm on his mouth.

Amaaya and Rinu were looking their Alien trying not to blink, double checking what she had said.

Totaly ignoring the crowd whose eyes were fully on her, Anjali started to move towards him.

The love of her life.

Eby gulped feeling her very strong gaze at him. When she was at a very small distance from him, she paused.

The viewers could not wait any longer to see what would happen in the next second.

Anjali looked down for a second whereas Eby kept gazing her without being able to control his feelings.

"I love you Eby." She gazed into him.

Eby wore unreadable expression at that precise moment. At first he was shocked like 'Huh?' Then he gave a doubted smile.

Ohh god! His face was really looking funny. Ofcourse he was super happy. Like shyness-filled happiness.

With that, Lenin left there followed by a very disappointed Zoya.

It was like her head was hit hard by a frying pan.

Farhan exchanged a hearty smile with Amaaya and then to his dudes.

"Are you sure?" Eby asked her

"What?"

"I mean, you are not saying it only to escape from them, right?" He asked with a slight fear of the reply.

Hearing those hurtful words from him, Anjali turned red out of her anger. "What the hell are you talking Eby? Why are you thinking that way? You know I was, I was trying hard to hide my feelings all these days. But I can't stop me from, loving you. I thought I would lose you. You don't have any idea how much I felt regret when I avoided you everytime. And here you are,asking me 'are you sure or not?' and all."

Her words made him mum like a statue. He could feel both the sadness and anger in her wet eyes.

"Anjali, I didn't mean that way. Please, please don't be mad at me."

"I ain't mad at anyone" She said still in the anger.

"Ohh! Thank god" He teased her.

"Uhm, by the way, don't you have anything else to say?" She asked without facing him.

"What?" Raising his eyebrow at her.

"Uhh, nothing." She said throwing her gaze somewhere else.

Trying to control his smile, "I had already said it before three years"

"You still...?" A slight smile forming on her lips. He nodded and her smiled widened.

It was enough to redden her cheeks. She kept looking him with more and more passion.
