"Mr. Johns, this is my one and only son Ishaan. You asked about him, right?" Dad turned to look for his so called successfull son but only to find a beard guy looking here and there.

"Ishaan?" He still kept on searching for someone.

"I think you should introduce him the next time Mr. Abraham. He seems to be busy right now." Guests let out a small laugh.

"Ishaan!!!" This time he called raising his voice.

"Uh...yeah. What dad?" Ishaan gave an innocent look whereas dad shot a killer look.

"Are you here?"

"Uhm, I will come soon." He felt somewhat relief after leaving the business gang. Okay, he was crazy over business. But that was just too much!

"Where were you shanu? I have been searching for you." Geni took hold of his hand stopping him at the midway.

Ishaan narrowed his eyes at the word 'Shanu'. She dragged him to the sitting area where he came to see red, pink, brown even purple lips.

"These are my friends. And girls, this is my brother." He felt awkward as if he were in a bakery shop. Considering the makeup of those girls, bakery would be an understatement.

"Right now, I'm busy Geni. You enjoy with them." Girls were disappointed at his odd behaviour.

Ishaan spotted Eby who was having a non stop talk with his love. He wondered how could the strong chairman of the college change this much.

Once he got a glimse of her, he paused for a while and walked to the balcony where she was talking in her phone.

"Yeah. I will come with Rinu." She hung up the phone before turning to face him.

Amaaya was surprised to see him there. He shoved his hands in pockets and held her eyes.

"So, you were having the sweet talk with your grandma?" He asked with a smile playing on his lips.

"If so? Why do you care? You want to start shouting at me again, right?" She swallowed hard, recalling his words once again.

For the first time, she could see the depth of regret in his eyes. He looked down for a second lacking words.

"You are having many special guests there and I don't know why you are keep talking to a flirt"

"You are not a flirt Amaaya...." He cut off her as if it were the most obvious thing in the world.

"I don't know why you are always thinking that way"

"Because you only told that. That day you made me feel like I was one of those girls." A pain squeezed her heart letting her eyes to wet.

"I did not mean anything." She drove her gaze down avoiding his regretful eyes.

"Amaaya, I'm..." He took a step closer to her.

"It's okay. Uhm, I have to go now." She started to move only to get blocked by him.

"What?" Amaaya fixed her gaze on him questioningly.

"I told you that I didn't mean it. Then why you are doing this to me?" He asked out, not worrying to display the sadness.

"Okay then, what do you want phone---"

"Call me Ishaan." Ishaan looked at her eyes, really needing to hear it.

"Uhm. Well, what do you want?"

"You did not even congratulate me." He asked, not leaving her eyes.

Amaaya could not hide the smile, watching him turning to a four years old boy complaining for not congratulating him.
