Chapter 13: Movie Night & Weekend

Sorry for the late upload, guys. Busy sa school since exam namin last week and may event sa school.

Kath's Pov
Friday ngayon so meaning....movie night with the family! Nakagawian na namin 'to noong 2 years old si Isabel. At first, we would watch children's movie pero when she turned 3, she asked us kung pwede daw movies naman namin ni Dj ang papanoorin kasi she was not born nung ginawa namin ang mga movies.

So ngayong gabi, Can't Help Falling Inlove yung papanoorin namin.

Isabel: mommy, dada! Hurry I wanna watch already.

Kath: una na kayo ni dada dun, baby. I'll just prepare the snacks.

Isabel: okay. We'll prepare the blankets na din and pillows.

Midnight snacks, pillows, soft blankets and a super comfy sofa! Great way to start the weekend. Every friday, dito talaga kami natutulog sa movie room kasi nga the movie would usually finish by 12am or 1am so no time to go to the rooms.

Popcorns and chips ang lagi naming kinakain dun kaya eto na ang dinala ko.

Movie room

Isabel: mommy, i'll be in the center ah.

Kath: sure baby.

Isabel: yey! Come na. We'll watch.

Kath: ready na ba yan? *pointing at the tv* mukhang di naman.

Isabel: dada already set it up.

Kath: okay. Here *abot ng chips*. Love *abot ng popcorn*

Dj: ay thank you, love. Ikaw, asan yung sayo?

Kath: i'll share with isabel nalang.

Isabel: thank you mommy.

Ngayon, nagsisimula na ang movie at ang batang katabi namin ngayon, sobrang focus na focus sa pinapanood. Hahahahaha.

Isabel: that's mommy and dada! *turo*

Kath: yep. That's us baby.

Isabel: but dada looks so kulit there.

Kath: yes baby. He is. Sobrang makulit siya while we shoot that movie.

Dj: di kaya *giggles*

Isabel: okay that's enough. I'm watching.

KathNiel: *giggling*

Nasa scene na kung saan nasa Cebu na si Gab at Dos.

Isabel: dada, that's so pretty! I wish I could go there *sad*

Dj: we'll go there next time baby.

Kath: yeah. We need to bring you there.

Isabel: why mommy?

Kath: the place is very beautiful. Kaya we'll go there soon.

After the movie

Isabel: mom, let's sleep here ha.

Kath: oh yes, baby. Look oh dada's sleeping already. *turo kay dj*

Isabel: take a picture of him, mom! *giggling*

Kinuha ko naman agad ang phone ko tyaka kinunan siya ng litrato. Ang cute kasi ng position niya. He's hugging a throw pillow tas medyo naka smile pa. Mukhang nananaginip na ang mahal ko.

Isabel: done na mom?

Kath: yup. Look oh. *pakita ng pictures*

Isabel: sleep na din tayo, mommy.

Pumwesto naman kami sa tabi ni Dj. Bale si Isabel, nasa gitna namin.

Isabel: goodnight mommy. Goodnight dada.

Kath: goodnight baby.

Third Person's Pov
Morning
Kinaumagahan, nagising ang pamilyang Ford habang yakap ang isa't-isa. Lagi naman itong nangyayari ngunit espesyal talaga kapag weekend kasi walang trabaho sina Kath at Dj kaya siguradong makakapag-bonding talaga sila ng todo.

Nakagawian na kasi nilang huwag magtrabaho tuwing weekend kasi family time yun. Minsan, pumupunta sila kina Mama Carla tapos minsan kina Mama Min naman. O di kaya minsan, nagdidinner sa labas o shopping.

Isabel: mom, where are we going later? It's weekend, remember?

Kath: we'll visit the KathNails branch in MOA then we'll meet up with Tita Trina and Tita Arisse.

Isabel: with daddy?

Kath: of course, baby. Bakit ayaw mo ba?

Isabel: I want. But dada won't understand your girly talks naman eh.

Kath: he'll understand.

Isabel: really? How?

Kath: go. You ask him.

Tumakbo naman agad si Isabel para tanungin ang kanyang ama.

Dj: oo naman baby. Alam mo ba, before, me and your mom watched Katy Perry's concert.

Isabel: huh? But Katy Perry is a girl right? And her songs are like girly, dad.

Dj: baby, ganito yun. Before, I really don't like to go on concerts. Kasi magulo but when your mommy came into my life, I started loving the things she loves.

Isabel: oh if that so, you really love mommy huh.

Dj: oo naman baby. If you love a person, walang what ifs. Meaning, you are willing to do everything for him or her. Like what I did to your mom. I loved her to the fullest.

Isabel: *kinikilig* yieee dada, you're so cheesy!

Dj: di yun cheesy baby. Pero pag ikaw, pag may nanligaw sayo, dadaan muna yun sakin.

Isabel: here we go again dad.

Dj: osige na tama na *giggles*

Pumunta na ang pamilyang Ford sa branch ng KathNails para bisitahin ito. Konting pag-uusap ang naganap dun sa mga staffs at sa CEO. Madaming tao ang nandoon kaya ang iba, nakapuslit pang makapagpapictures sa pamilya.

At halos ang mga nandun, nagpapapicture din kay Isabel. Tuwang-tuwa naman ang bata dahil sa pagmamahal na nakukuha niya mula sa mga tagahanga ng mga magulang.

May isang fan na nagbigay ng regalo kay Isabel at mabilis namang tumakbo ang bata papunta sa daddy niya.

Isabel: dada, look! *taas ng gift* a fan gave me this.

Dj: woww. Dadagdag yan sa collections mo, baby.

Isabel: yeah!

Dj: did you thank ate? Yung nagbigay sayo niyan?

Isabel: yes. And we even had a picture together.

Dj: kaya pala gustong gusto mong pumunta dito sa KathNails ah. Ang spoiled mo dito baby.

Tumawa naman ang lahat sa sinabi ni Dj. Totoo naman kasi sa tuwing pumupunta ang mag-ina doon, may mga fans talagang nag-aabot sa kanya ng mga regalo.

Minsan lang kasi sumama si Dj dun kasi may inaasikaso din.

Matapos ang ilang oras dun sa KathNails, nakipagkita na sina Kathryn, Dj at Isabel kina Arisse.

Dinner at usap usap lang sila dun at by 10pm, nauna ng umuwi ang mga Ford kasi gabi na at kasama nila si Isabel.
