I woke up and looked at my phone to see how much longer we would be on the plane. We still had a good two hours so I decided to look through Savannah’s backpack. She had all of her art supplies, a laptop, her sketch book, and her phone in the little canvas bag. I was going to play around on her phone, but I couldn’t guess the right design so I looked through her sketch book instead. I don’t know why I was being so nosey, but I just got the feeling to look through the dang sketch book.

I flipped right to the page with half of my face and turned straight to the first page because it was creepy to see my own face with only one eye and no hair. It had the words “STAY OUT” written so that it looked like the letters had been shot or bitten. In the corner there was a wooden sign that said “Walkers Present”. I could tell that she had been watching The Walking Dead quite a bit. All of the other pages were filled with Pokemon, creepy faces, and the occasional shadow with fangs.

I thought back to the first day I met her. She had a nightmare that night and seemed to think that it was normal. How often does she have these nightmares? All of the faces and shadows were enough to scare me half to death, so how did she deal with them? I had to know more about Savannah and the reason she doesn’t trust people.

Calum woke up and looked over my shoulder at the page with a really creepy face/shadow thing on it. He gasped and turned the page back to the front. “What the heck was that?”

“I don’t know, but I plan to find out,” I muttered more to myself than to him. I was going to show her that she could trust me no matter what.

The next four hours were pretty uneventful. We got off the plane and drove to meet the One Direction boys. Savannah was being surprisingly quiet during the car ride, and I was starting to get worried. “Are you alright?” I asked her so nobody else could hear me.

Her head popped up and she looked at me like I just scared the living daylights out of her. “Yeah, I’m fine. It’s just that today has a lot of bad history behind it for me,” she whispered.

I grabbed her hand and asked,” Do you want to talk about it?”

“No, I don’t,” she said through clenched teeth. She jerked her hand away from mine and curled them both into white fists. She didn’t talk to any of us for the rest of the car ride.

Her mood lightened a bit when we met the One Direction boys. She fan girled quite a bit, but it was mostly around Harry. I was getting very jealous while he flirted with her and I let it show once I saw him smirk at the other guys while he gave her a hug. I grabbed her waist and pulled her away from the curly headed lad. “So what are we doing today?” I asked while glaring at Harry.

“We’ve got an interview in a little over an hour, so we should probably get going,” Liam told all of us.

“Say, Savannah, you could come with us,” Harry smirked. Would I have to kill him before the tour even started?

“I think I’ll go with my boyfriend. I like you and all, but I’m kinda taken so back of with all the dagum flirtin’,” she sassed. She was right, she did have a country accent when she was mad and it was hot.
