Nothing Will Break Us

Missing

Ming woke up on Sunday morning to an empty bed. Kit wasn't beside him like normal. He thought maybe Kit had fallen asleep on the couch but upon inspection failed to see Kit. Ming searched the entire house but Kit was no where to be found. He tried calling Kit's phone but no one answered. He decided to call Beam and Pha to see if Kit had crashed at their place. Both Pha and Beam stated that Kit was heading home after their night out which worried Ming since Kit wasn't home. The others began to worry to, it wasn't like Kit to be missing in action like this. Beam suggested going back to the bar and seeing if there was any clues as to where Kit was. Ming was anxious that maybe Kit had gotten into a car accident and was panicking that Kit was injured somewhere in need of help. He wasn't far off his assumption. 

Ming had met Beam, Pha and Forth at the bar and tried to retrace Kit's steps. Pha had noted that Kit had to park 2 blocks south of the bar because there was no parking spot closer. Upon reaching Kit's parking spot nothing seemed out of the ordinary. Ming tried to call Kit's phone once again only to hear Kit's familiar ring tone going off. Ming followed the sound and soon saw Kit's phone on the side of the road. He picked it up only to see it had a smashed screen, as if it had been thrown or dropped. Kit was very careful when it came to his phone, he wouldn't just leave it behind like this. The others were surprised to see Kit's phone but no Kit. Ming was starting to have a panic attack, he felt something was seriously wrong. 

Beam walked over towards Ming and began to console him, telling him everything would be ok even if he himself didn't believe it. They were all too wrapped up in the missing Kit that they failed to notice Ming's phone going off. Ming's phone rang for a 3rd time before Ming was shaken out of his little bubble. He was too lost that he didn't check to see who was calling before he answered. "Hello?" Ming spoke, not fully paying attention to the said caller. "Hey Ming. I just wanted to tell you that Kit's in good hands. No need to worry anymore I will take good care of him" the man spoke confidently. At the mention of Kit Ming was brought back to reality. "What the hell do you mean, Where is Kit?" Ming screamed. "You don't need to know but just understand that I will love Kit more than you ever could. He's safe with me and I'll treat him better than anyone, even you" the unknown caller said. Ming was getting pissed. Who was this stranger and why did he take his Kitten? 

"You give me my Kit back or I'll make your life a living hell. Mark my words" Ming yelled to the stranger. The others just watched on as Ming was losing his cool. Whoever this guy was it was clear he was the one who took Kit, for what purpose they didn't know. "I'm sorry Ming but that's not possible. Kit is mine now. I love him too much to give him back to the likes of you, someone who'll just end up hurting him" the man said then quickly hung up the call. Ming was beyond furious. Some creep had his Kit and that was not right. He would not rest till he had his Kit back into his arms. He had almost forgot the others were there until Pha placed his hand on Ming's shoulder "We'll get Kit back Ming" he said, trying to calm Ming down. He knows that Ming is so close to losing it. Nothing mattered more to Ming than his Kit and this stranger just messed with the wrong person Pha thought to himself. 

Ming wanted to get into his car and drive all over the city looking for his Kit but Pha held on to him "You can't just drive around, you don't know where he's keeping Kit. They may not even be in the city anymore" Pha said softly. Ming didn't want to listen but he knew Pha was right "What can we do then?" he said, pacing. Forth then spoke up "We need to file a missing person's report with the police. Let them know that Kit had been kidnapped. They can help us." "Oh because they've been so helpful so far" Ming said sarcastically "If they had of done their job none of this would of happened." Pha spoke up "Forth's right Ming. We need to let the police know what's going on. The longer we wait the less chance we have of getting Kit before that creep does something to him." Ming was silent for a few minutes before giving in "Fine but we better find Kit untouched" he said firmly. He was terrified that the stranger would touch his Kit in a way only he was allowed too and he couldn't handle that thought. 

Pha breathed a sigh of relief and was glad that Ming was using his head and not just rushing into this all willy-nilly. They then all headed towards the police station to see officer Jones and explain what has happened. Jones wasn't shocked to learn Kit was taken, he had a feeling it would come to this if they couldn't catch this stalker. He was however understanding at how hard this must be for Ming and the others. So far Yo was the only one kept in the dark, but Pha said he would tell Yo once they were finished with the police, wanting to tell Yo in person. It took 2 hours but finally Ming and the others could leave the station, officer Jones promising to catch this perp and bring his Kit back safely. 

Ming didn't fully trust in the police, I mean they had no clue as to who was behind this so what makes them think this kidnapping would help them get closer to the stalker. He decided to call his parents and tell them everything. His parents were livid and Ming's father ordered his security team to use any means necessary in finding Kit. He knew how much Kit meant to Ming and would do anything within his power to bring Kit back home safely, where he belongs. Everyone was so caught up in Kit's abduction that they failed to notice someone was watching them from afar, keeping tabs on their every move. This stranger knew full well where Kit was and who was keeping him but decided to let Kit remain there just a little longer. He would only step in if absolutely necessary, but for now he would let Joshua enjoy his time with Kit because it would soon be over.
