When officer Jones reluctantly asked Kit to come down and speak to Samuel he knew Ming was going to throw up a storm. If he had any other way Jones wouldn't have suggested Kit speak to him in the first place but nothing else they tried could get Samuel to open up, this was their last resort. Jones probably should of spoken to Ming and Kit together but knowing how Ming would of reacted he went against his better judgement and confronted Kit about this issue. It wasn't long before Kit was curled up in ball on the hard floor crying his eyes out. Jones was having no luck in convincing Kit to see Samuel and he was running out of time. Unfortunately for Jones his bad luck continued as Ming came home from the store to see Kit in a messy heap on the floor, crying his eyes out. One look at officer Jones and he knew who was responsible for Kit's current mood.
"What the fuck did you do to him Jones?" Ming yelled as he stepped closer to Kit and wrapped his arms around him, holding him close. Jones didn't know how to respond, he understood Ming's frustration and if the roles were reversed he would do the same thing but he had a massive task at hand. "Samuel isn't opening up to anyone. No matter what we do he won't talk. We tried everything but nothing worked" officer Jones replied. Ming was trying to hold it together for Kit's sake. He can't attack a police officer just for making his baby upset. "So why are you here and what did you do to make Kit cry like this? Ming spat out, not even bothering to hide his temper.
Jones gulped, knowing full well Ming was close to losing it and was treading as carefully as possible. Ming was very protective when it came to Kit, and he was even more so after these recent events. "Umm" Jones stuttered out "Samuel did ask 1 teeny tiny little thing" using his hands to emphasis how "small" the favour was. He took a small breath understanding the need to be careful with his words "He said he would be willing to talk," he hesitated for a moment before carrying on "but only if it was Kit he spoke to." Officer Jones knew he was dead when he gazed upon Ming's face. He had such a dark expression written all over his face and you could practically see the smoke coming out of his ears. "So you call Samuel's request a teeny tiny little thing do you?" Ming said in a calm yet scary manner. "You think it's ok to subject Kit to this guys presence, even after all he did to him?" Ming was starting to get angry and slowly let go of Kit for the moment as he headed towards the officer.
"Do you have any idea what he's been though? How much pain he has suffered? He can't even close his eyes without having nightmares of it all, and you want him to face the man behind it." Ming was about to blow a fuse "You have got to be kidding me. What kind of idiot are you, to even suggest putting Kit through that. You saw how he reacted and yet you still want him to face his abductor, the one who made his life hell for weeks on end?" Ming then in a fit of anger shoved officer Jones out of his house before he did something he would truly regret. "Don't ever come here suggesting that again" Ming blasted at the officer. He then shut the door, locking it behind him, and made his way back to Kit, once again hugging him close, telling him that it will all be ok.
Kit had stopped crying by this point but the thought of ever seeing Samuel again terrified him. He knew when this case goes to trial he would most likely have to face that devil again. There was a slim chance that the judge would convict Samuel without the need of a trial, with all the evidence against him it was hard not to find him guilty, but Kit wasn't holding on to any hope of that ever happening. He curled himself up in Ming's strong yet loving arms as Ming slowly carried him to the bedroom to take a little nap. Kit didn't hold Ming's earlier outburst against him, knowing full well he only did that because he truly cared about his well being. To Ming Kit was his number 1 priority and nothing else came even close.
Within 5 minutes of laying on the bed Kit was out like a light. The previous meltdown tired him out immensely and he crashed before he knew it. Ming didn't leave Kit's side once while his precious beloved was sleeping like a baby, on guard in case Kit has another nightmare. Like every night Kit woke up an hour later screaming in terror but instantly calmed down when he felt Ming's warm embrace. Ming was the safe haven Kit needed if he was to get through all this heartache. While Kit was getting what little sleep he was able to Ming had come to a decision. Originally he was going to wait till both of them had graduated and had steady jobs before they got married but with the recent events Ming didn't want to wait any longer. Grabbing the phone out of his pocket he texted his and Kit's family as well as the others with his plan. Luckily no one objected to Ming's idea and all promised to help out in any way possible.
Ming kept staring at his beautiful fiance, filled with so much joy that this little guy was his forever. It tore him apart to know what Kit had to suffer thanks to his crazy stalkers but he had faith they would pull through this together. Tears began to fall down his face as he remembered what Kit looked like when they finally found him. It had been just over a week and Kit looked good as new. To onlookers Kit looked like any normal human being but to Ming and the others they all knew he was suffering. Ming was never going to let something like this happen to Kit again. He wished he could take all the pain away, take away the nightmares that ate at Kit's very soul but alas that wasn't possible. Ming settled for being there every step of the way for Kit, helping him to recovery. Nothing would ever tear them apart. They were in this for life.
