Nothing Will Break Us

Wedding Bliss

Around 10am Kit was woken up by Beam yelling at Kit to hurry up and get ready or they'll be late. Kit was thoroughly confused. He didn't know they had any plans set out for the day so what was it that they were going to be late for Kit wondered to himself. Kit would of loved to stay in bed just a little longer but knowing Beam, he could walk right in and dump a cold bucket of water over his head. It only took half an hour before Kit was freshened up and dressed in a nice pair of blue jeans, a v neck top and a pair of sneakers. Upin exiting the guest room he was handed a nice simple black suit. "Hurry up and put that on or we'll be late" and ushered Kit back into the room to get changed.

Kit was surprised to be given a tuxedo let alone seeing Beam in a nice cream coloured one too. He had no idea what was going on but when hearing Beam yell again for him to hurry up he quit questioning everything and just got dressed as fast as he could. 10 minutes later he emerged from the guest room in his black suit looking quite sharp. Ming would be staring at Kit and drooling if he could see his boyfriend right now Beam thought to himself. Before Kit could utter a single word out as to what was going on there was a rather loud knock on the door. Beam hurried over to see who it is and was welcomed with their best friend Pha. Like Beam he was also wearing a cream coloured suit only a shade or two darker than Beams.

"Are you guys ready yet? We're going to be late if we don't hurry up" Pha said as he glanced over to Kit who was still in shock as to what was going on. Were they going to a wedding Kit wondered and if so who's was it? He didn't have time to ponder on that thought as Beam came over and basically dragged Kit out the door towards Pha's car. 20 minutes later and they had finally arrived at Ming's parents place. 

"What are we doing here?" Kit asked once he realised where they were. Instead of answering him Beam and Pha just gestured Kit to follow them inside. Kit had so many questions but was in total awe of the place once he stepped inside. The front entrance was decorated in white lilies and red tulips, 2 of Kit's favourite flowers. As they continued to make their way through the house Kit saw many wonder and amazing decorations throughout the house. He had no clue as to what was going on and it looked like neither one of his friends were going to tell him. His 2 friends had lead Kit out towards the back yard but before they had arrived Pha had softly stopped Kit in his tracks and covered his eyes in a black cloth, preventing him from seeing anything. "Do not remove that cloth Kit you understand me" Pha said in a firm tone that meant business. Although Kit was desperate to know what was going on he knew better than to go against Pha at this moment. 

It was several minutes and Kit began to wonder where his friends had gone, he was just about to take the blindfold off when someone took his left arm and began to lead him outside. Kit was slightly scared, not sure what was happening and tried to get away. "Calm down Kit it is going to be ok" a familiar voice spoke. Kit instantly knew who the man beside him was. It was none other than his father. Knowing that it eased Kit's mind a little but he still didn't know what was going on. Why was his father here and where was he leading him Kit pondered. Before he could think too much more his father had stopped and stepped away from Kit, taking a sit next to his wife. Kit then suddenly felt the blindfold being removed from his face and the first thing he saw was a very happy Ming staring lovingly at him. He was frozen for several moments, basking in the glow that radiated off of Ming. When he came to his senses he looked at his surroundings and noticed his and Ming's immediate family and very close friends were seated behind him. 

If Kit didn't know any better he would of thought this was a wedding. Ming seeing the confused look upon his fiance's, and soon to be husband's, face spoke up "Darling I love you more than anything. When I first proposed to you I was willing to wait for us to graduate before tying the knot but after recent events I've realised something. I can't wait any longer. I want to be your wedded husband more than anything. I want to spend the rest of my life with you." Ming paused for a second before speaking a little nervously "So will you marry me today?" 

Kit was taken aback by Ming's proposal, tears began to flow down his cheeks. He was so overjoyed and filled with love and happiness at Ming, who once again showed him what true love really is, that he couldn't speak. He only nodded his head and smiled, too overwhelmed with emotions to do much else. Ming then grabbed Kit's hands softly and turned to the minster standing in front of them. "We're ready" he said as he turned back to stare deeply at his beloved. The man began with all the usual things a wedding contains and it wasn't long till it was time to say their vows.

"Kit. From the moment I met you I knew you were the one. You're my life, my love and I can't imagine living without you. No matter what gets thrown our way I will stand by you and we will get through anything. When you were taken from me I felt like a part of me has died. I was lost and afraid I'd never see you again but I never gave up. I knew you were out there waiting for me. I'm the luckiest man alive to have someone like you in my life and I will show you every day just what you mean to me. I love you my precious Kitten."

"Ming. When I first met you I didn't know what to think. I was scared that you were just playing with my heart but over time you have shown me your true colours. You have made me see that the love you have for me is real and never ending. You never once gave up on me and for that I am so thankful. You are the light to my darkness, the sun to my day. I can't imagine a day without you by my side. We've been through so much lately but you never once gave me any reason to doubt your love. In fact you just kept proving yourself again and again. I couldn't ask for a better person to share the rest of my life with. I love you so much Ming."

The minster then asked "Do you Ming/Kit take your beloved in sickness and in health, for richer or poorer, for better or worse until death do you part?" Both replied happily "I do." "I now pronounce you husband and husband. You may kiss your partner." Then Ming grabbed Kit softly by the neck and pulled him closer before kissing him deeply. The kiss went on for several moments before they both broke apart. Everyone was cheering and clapping but none were as excited as Ming. Kit was now his forever and he was never letting go.
