To say Samuel was shocked that Kit had refused to meet him was an understatement. He was so confident that Kit would be at least a little bit curious as to why this all happened but when officer Jones came in one afternoon explaining that he wasn't going to be able to speak with Kit he was beyond shocked. Luckily for him Samuel was able to keep a straight face through this and not give anything away. Samuel pushed aside his feelings of disappointment and shock and began to hatch a new plan.
While officer Jones was sitting patiently in the little interviewing room with Samuel directly opposite him he got a sudden surprise. Samuel spoke for the first time since he demanded to see Kit. "I would like my one phone call please" he stated in a calm and kind of a little scary manner. Jones was surprised at his sudden request. Throughout this whole process Samuel has never once asked for a phone call or even a lawyer, so what suddenly changed his mind. The officer was reluctant to go through with what Samuel had asked, worried that he had ulterior motives behind this call, but it was law that he be given one phone call so he had no choice but to comply.
There was indeed an ulterior motive behind this mysterious phone call. True to the various rumours floating around, Samuel was connected to one of the largest mafia groups in not only the city but the country. Samuel was the grandson of the current leader of Dark Shadows, the 2nd largest mafia group in all of Thailand. All his life Samuel had gotten what he wanted and this was no exception. He was going to get his Kit, even if it meant killing Ming in the process. It wouldn't be his first murder so it didn't faze him one bit about taking out his "little" competition. Samuel finally got his one phone call and placed it to a local number, a small Korean restaurant, asking if his "mother" was back from the store and then proceed to talk about his "supposed" mother. After a few minutes he then swiftly ended the call and went back to his holding cell. Unknown to officer Jones this was all a coded message. The little Korean place was one of the many businesses owned by the Dark Shadows and his message gave them all the details they needed to break Samuel out of his little holding cell. It wouldn't be long before Samuel was free from this hell hole and once again with his Kit.
While Samuel was busy making his call Jones had come up with an idea that may get Sam to talk about why he did all this and what his end game was. If he had known now that this was all just a terrible mistake and would just add fuel to the fire, causing Samuel to escalate everything, I doubt Jones would of even suggested it. When he was taking Samuel back to his holding cell he casual mentions that days ago Kit and Ming had gotten married. Jones wasn't able to attend the wedding himself but he received quite a few pictures from the occasion. He then began to show Samuel in hopes that it might rial him enough that he accidentally blurts out something he didn't mean to in anger and frustration. What he failed to realise is that Samuel was trained to keep his cool no matter the situation. So even when heard about his Kit getting married and seeing how happy the couple looked he remained calm and collected, even if on the inside he was screaming. Kit belonged to him and he wouldn't let a simple wedding get in the way of it.
A week had gone by and Samuel had spent most of that time planning. Planning out how to get his Kit back and take Ming out in the process. Kit would eventually move on and forget Ming if he was once and for all permanently out of the picture. It didn't matter how it happened because whether it was an accident or not Kit would believe he had something to do with it. After all he had done to Kit, this wouldn't surprise him the least. At least this way he could have Kit all to himself, now all he needed was a way out of this prison, which was almost here.
It was a normal Monday morning when the trouble began. 11 minutes past 10 a rather large explosion happened just outside the station. A small but very explosive bomb had gone off, destroying most of the police vehicles in the process. The majority of the officers had rushed outside amongst the commotion to figure out what had just happened. Some officers were there to set the perimeter, others were there to check on the civilians and see if anyone was injured while the rest were determining what had caused the explosion in the first place. It wasn't long till the whole area was in lock down and everyone was so busy focusing on what had occurred outside the station that no one noticed 2 men, dressed in uniform walking into the holding cells.
One of the men had managed to swipe the key from a fellow officer and was able to unlock the doors. Soon Samuel was rushed out of the holding cell and into the nearby toilet where he was handed an officer uniform. Once he was redressed in his new gear they quickly left the bathroom and headed out of the station through the back door, making sure to not be seen by the few remaining police officers inside the building. Being the bad guys they were they had left the holding cells unlocked allowing the other people being held to walk free. 10 minutes later and Samuel was once again a free man. Samuel was smiling all the way back to his home. Kit was going to be his once again and he didn't care what it would cost.
Several hours had gone by before the station had gotten back to some form of normality. There was an ongoing investigation about the incident, some even speculating that maybe it was an inside job. What ever it was it would be days or even weeks before the madness of it all dies down. Once the officers began to settle back down into their normal routines and go back to business that's when they realised that the explosion was just a diversion. It was 4pm and the crowd outside was nothing more than a handful of people at this point, only local news crew had remained with 1 or 2 people here and there. One of the lower ranked officer went to check on the people they had in their holding cells only to discovering that one, very dangerous prison was missing.
The said officer was beyond nerves, he didn't want to be the one to tell officer Jones that Samuel had escaped and was slowly walking towards his doom. He then arrived at Jones' office and tapped on his open door. "Come in officer" Jones said in a rather flat tone as he was looking through some old files. "What can I do for you?" he said and looked up at the officer, who was now visibly shaking. The officer nervously spoke out "I went to check on the prisoners in the holding cells a moment ago and" he paused briefly, seeing Jones face become stern, "Samuel was missing sir." Upon hearing the news that somehow Samuel had escaped his holding cell Jones had blew his top off, yelling extremely loud "WHAT DO YOU MEAN SAMUEL HAS ESCAPED?" This was bad news for everyone. Not once in the history of this station has there been a prison break out and today of all days. This was not going to end well officer Jones thought to himself.
