•"Yo, you know how to roll a backwood?" I looked at Alisha as she typed away on her brand new MacBook. I had to go and get her some new shit because she couldn't be rolling around with me the way she came. No offense against anybody, but she most definitely had an old ass Dell computer that was going to go out any minute now. "Nah, I don't smoke." I shook my head, "You don't have to know how to smoke to know how to roll ma."
"Let me try then, maybe I can." I shook my head, "Hell nah, not today. This the last one I got on me and I can't let you fuck it up." I laughed a little bit, but I was serious. "You said you didn't want to book anything for this weekend, right?"
"Yeah, I have a gender reveal to attend." She gasped, "Aw, I really love babies. Who's having a baby?"
"Me."
"Seriously? I didn't know that. Congratulations!" I nodded my head, "Thanks ma. You know you can take the weekend off, unless you want to run errands for me. I still got a lot of shit I need to get and I don't really want my girl out here ripping and running."
"Of course, just give me the list of what you need and I can handle it." I nodded my hand, "I'll send it over to you later, I'll have to see what's missing once I get home." She looked at me, "So why don't you ever talk about you personal life? I mean I get that I'm just your assistant and the relationship is business, but as a fan— we want to know a little bit more about you."
"I tell y'all enough, it's all in the music," I said while pouring me a small amount of Hennessy into my red solo cup. "Well, I've been working with you for a few weeks and I never even knew you having a kid or in a relationship. I guess you take this whole level of privacy to a whole new level."
I shrugged, "What would I get out of telling people that I'm in a relationship, me and my bitch good regardless. Plus, she didn't want anyone to know she was pregnant for personal reasons. So when my baby comes, I'll tell the world that I'm a father. Now, just ain't the time for all that."
"Sorry, I didn't mean it like that." I shook my head, "Nah, you cool. What about you though?" She shrugged, "I come from a small family, so I'm very family oriented. It's just my older sisters and my parents, so we all pretty much do everything together. As far as a relationship, I've been in school for the last four years so I don't really have the time."
"So, you don't got a nigga you fucking with at least a little bit?" She shook her head, "No, that's not really my focus right now." I had finished rolling my backwood up while we was talking, so I was just about ready to smoke. "Enough of this sappy shit, I'm about to go smoke. You can head out and take off for the day, I'll just see you this weekend."
