I glanced at the phone for the one hundredth time, calling between Dave's and Leek's number. I didn't know much of what was happening, but Tasha did call me crying—saying that Dave had ran into her house and slapped her up.

The last I'd seen of Dave, he was leaving out the house to go to the studio. He had his usual attire on, some sweats, a t-shirt, and some sneakers. Nothing seems out of the ordinary, so why would he go and harm her?

I grew very irritated when Dave didn't answer his phone, so I was met with the irritating ass voicemail lady. I stormed up from our bed, going to the closet to look inside of his safe.

I sat Indian style in front of the huge steel case, trying to remember the security codes. BOOM, on the second try at it—finally get it. I quickly glanced inside, seeing that it was full of money but both of Dave's smaller metal boxes were open.

Those smaller boxes were for his guns, and he rarely ever took them out. He had a few other ones around the house, but those two for sure always stayed in the safe.

I shook my head clocking it back up. Neither of them were answering their phones, Tasha called me crying, and now his guns are missing. It clicked, this definitely had to have something to do with Mac.

Dave has told me somethings about them figuring some shit out, but I sometimes think that Dave gets high and makes shit up. I thought he was going through one of his grieving days, and brushed it off. Plus, I kept telling his to not let the streets figure out lies—leave it to the cops.

He promised me that he wouldn't act on the situation, and I trusted him not to lie to me. You're not that teenage kid anymore, that can go out and make mistakes without consequences. You have a wife and daughter at home, who needs you more than anything.

Plus, you have a whole career with millions of people that look up to you. If you go out here and do anything in those streets, that brings street ties back in place. You're not ready for what has to come with that, and neither am I. Niggas don't care about bitches, and they definitely don't care about kids. And I don't know about him, but I'd die about mine—so if it ever came between him a Kairi... know that my daughter will come out on top.

A wave of irritation came over me, I just could feel that he was out doing something stupid. Like he could actually afford to be taking risks like that right now, especially in a state like New York. He was just so fucking stubborn at times, he didn't see anything how I saw it.
