"Here, you have to eat something. I'm not going to let you sit around here and do this to yourself." I placed the meat and cheese omelette in front of him, and sat a cup of orange juice on his nightstand. "I don't want it B, I don't want it." I sighed, sitting on the bed. I reached over him and grabbed the fork, taking a piece of the omelette and putting it up to his mouth.

"Here, eat this shit Dave." He stared at me before reluctantly taking a bite of the food. I was on day three of dealing with his mood swings. Mac's mom had the final say so, and she decided to take him off of life support. The doctors said that he was not making any progress, so it was basically pointless to keep him suffering.

Somehow, Dave found a way to blame himself in this situation. You have to understand that every battle isn't yours. I found peace knowing that Mac was going to a better place, I hope that him and Pri could reunite. I knew what it felt like losing your bestfriend, the shit hurts. As his wife, I was going to be here to wipe all of his tears that he refused to shed.

After he ate at least half of the omelette, I went and cleaned the kitchen. I let him rest until noon, but I had to cover the planning of the funeral arrangements—so we had a few errands to run.

No one could really afford to bury Mac, besides us. I mean Leek could help, but I insisted to leave the bill on us. He didn't have any life insurance, Tasha was barely working, and his mom definitely couldn't. I felt bad for her, despite her drug addiction— this woman had lost both of her kids. That's a pain most would never be able to feel, and a void no one could ever fill.

The service was just a few days away, and I still needed to take his suit over to the funeral home and pick out a floral arrangement. Tasha and I wrote out his obituary last night, so I also had to take the information to the designer.
It was stressful, but I had no problem doing this for my brother. I just hated to see Dave so down, and it seemed like nothing was lifting his spirits.

Kairi's cries filled the house as I slipped on a pair of leggings. I had cleaned the kitchen and showered, so her cries we technically right on time. I hurriedly slipped on my tank top, and went down the hall to get her.

"Hi mommy's sleepy butt, you're finally up." I said to her as her cries began to quiet. She wrapped her little arms around me, attempting to snuggle into my neck. "Baby hungry?", I asked as if she could respond.
