I walked out of the guest room, holding the dishes that I had in the room with me. When I walked into the kitchen, Kairi was sitting in her high chair while Bernice washed dishes.

"You're washing your own dishes, I'm only cleaning after me and my kid." She looked at me, removing the dishes that I had just sat in the sink.

I ignored her pettiness, "Counseling was scheduled, it's going to be tomorrow morning. You gone be there, right?"

She nodded her head, "Yeah."

"You got your Welcome Back party tonight, right?" She nodded her head, telling me yes.

I guess since she's started back accepting bookings, Starlets wanted to welcome her back since it was her home. At first I didn't really want to go, but she still was my wife and I loved a lit ass party.

If I did decide to go, it wouldn't be for long. I wanted to get up and make it to counseling. Even though I might not have been showing it for the past couple of months, I do love Bernice. I knew that the therapists would help reveal all of these demons I'm battling. I was more than willing to admit everything now, anything I could do to show my improvement.

Bernice finished her dishes and moved out of the way, so I could wash mine.

"You cooking before you take Kairi to your mom house?" She shook her head, "No, my mom cooked. I'm eating there and then going to get my hair done."

I nodded my head, "I guess I'll see you at the party tonight, imma head out."

"Okay," was all she said before grabbing Kairi out of her high chair. I grabbed my keys off of the counter, and left.

I got into my truck, putting on my 90's R&B playlist. 'Angel of Mine' by Monica began to play as I pulled out of our driveway, onto the road. I drove vehicle nodding my head, on my way to meet with Ryelle.

She was my personal stylist whenever I had big events in New York. This time around, she was serving me a much greater purpose. I was honestly all in this time around, so I wanted to start planning something special.

The first trial of counseling lasted for four weeks, there you would decide if you'd go to the second trial. I knew the little hole we were in right now wasn't that deep, so I had Faith that we'd make it out of this.
