It's so easy to say I trust You
Appa
As many times as I would like,
Trying to convince myself
And Just leave things in your
hands.
He tells me : "Dear Blackbird,
Just trust me"
But Appa, what does that even
mean?
He teaches me, Guides me
Then the voices come and say
things contrary to what You said
Appa,
I'm supposeto pay close attention
To the counsel of many because
There is wisdom
But Appa, I still worry
Somethings are still not clear to me
And sometimes I'm really afraid
I'm afraid of ending up like the rest
Afraid of the uncertain future
Please Appa, Teach me to move
Slowly and steadily
While You guide me.
I know that,😫
When You fill me,
Then I don't have to worry about
Anything else
Appa, I don't want to hold on to what
Is not mine
Show me what is mine
But still you say: "Trust me "
I know I can either sit and worry
About things I can't control
Focus on the many things that fill
My head and makes me scared of
the future
OR! I can just put everything in
Your hands and leave it there
I don't have the answers now
And you know what?
Maybe the answers will be clearer
Later
But for now,
I choose to trust You to lead me
I choose You above My worries
I choose You above My pains
I choose you above my fears
I choose You over everyone Appa
And even though We don't spend
As much time as We used to,
I still love you
Because with You on my side,
It's Us against the world.
