Chapter 3

Kyle's POV

First period na. Dumaan muna ako sa locker para ilagay mga gamit ko, buti nalang at tapat ng classroom kaya hindi ako nalate. 

When I got in, I saw Gian, Chloe and Luke. Natuwa ako kasi 3 sa barkada, kaklase ko this period. Yung mga ibang classmates, hindi ko kilala pero mostly familiar.

"Hi Kyle, you're back!", "Tol, welcome back!", "Where have you been?", "Which school did you go to last school year?", "Si Kyleeee, OMG he's back. Gwapo niya pa rin." said my classmates as I made my way to my friends, I just nodded my head sa iba sa kanila and nilakasan ko boses ko para isang sagot nalang sa mga tanong nila...

"Yeah, it's nice to be back. Sa Tagaytay ako nagfreshman. Good to see y'all." 

Di naman talaga ako suplado, wala lang ako sa mood talaga. Dami nilang tanong, nakakairita kasi di ko naman kaclose yung iba sa kanila.

"Dude, ibang klase ka talaga. 1 year kang nawala but your charisma is still on fire," sabi ni Gian with a chuckle.

"Akala ko nga makakalimutan na nila ako eh, kahit saan ata kilala na ako like how the heck do they even know me?" sabi ko saka kami nagtawanan.

Tumahimik ang lahat pagring ng second bell. 

"Good morning, class. It's nice to see you all here. Welcome back."

"Good morning, Ms. Gonzales," said the whole class as we stand in unison.

"I see new and old faces and...oh Mr. Fuentes, you're back. Would you mind starting our first class activity of the day by introducing yourself and tell everyone something about you?" 

"Sure, Miss. First of all, good morning and it's good to see you all. I'm Kyle Cyrus Santos Fuentes, Kyle for short. As some of you may know, I am not a transfer student. I've been to this school ever since then but last year, I decided to start my high school in Tagaytay, my mom's hometown. Thank you."

Sanay na ako sa pagiging on the spot. Si Ms. Gonzales ang adviser, YES! She's one of the youngest teachers in the campus. Hot na sexy pa! She knows me well because she was our beach volleyball coach in elementary. Crush ko 'yan eh. 'Yun oh!

Lahat sa class nagpakilala and nagkwento about themselves as Ms. Gonzales checked the attendance.

"It says in the attendance list that Ms. Forteza is in our class, does anyone know where she might be?"

"Chearleading in the gym, Miss. Welcoming students," said Chloe. 

WHAT THE?! She knows her and I don't? 

"Chloe, who's that?"

"Si Daisy, newest member ng barkada."

HUH? Did I really miss a lot? Sobrang nagfocus ba talaga ako sa buhay ko sa Tagaytay at nagtune out ako sa barkada ko dito? And hindi siya basta basta magiging part ng elite barkada unless she's really popular.

"Hoy Kyle! What's with the face?"

"Wait what? May nadagdag sa barkada?"

"Yes. Alyssa's boyfriend, John, and si Daisy. You'll get to know them naman eventually so don't worry. 'Yan kasi nagstay ka pa sa Tagaytay, you missed A LOT. As in, A LOT."

Oo na, I missed a lot na. Way to rub it in. Jeez, girls are so annoying.

Ms. Gonzales just talked about the curriculum and the things to bring for the rest of the period. Spell BORING.

3 more classes has passed and nothing really happened. As usual, nagulat sila sa pagbalik ko and the same routine as the other classes continued.

Sa wakas lunch na rin and as usual, we assembled sa hang out place ng barkada.
