Chapter 5

Daisy's POV

3 months has passed since the first day of school. Nothing really happened.

Sometimes may mga bangayan pa rin kami ni Mr. Angas. Yeah, si Kyle nga.

Naiipit na nga ang barkada eh kaya minsan umiiwas nalang ako when he's around because he's ruining my positive reputation.

I don't wanna be seen being rude to him but it seems like everyone is aware na we're not in good terms. 

Oh yeah, siya nga pala si Mr. Popular so all eyes are set on him.

"Ms. Forteza," a person with a familiar voice called me while I was walking in the hallway.

I turned around and I was right.

"Good afternoon, Mrs. Cortez. Kamusta na po?"

Music teacher namin since freshman year. She's a hot mama. HAHA basta that's how I describe her kasi she looks so young kahit 3 na ang kids.

"I'm good, thanks. Yourself?"

"Likewise, Ma'am."

"Good. Are you free after school? Kailangan kasi kita makausap regarding the upcoming events sa school. I don't wanna wait for the last minute to prepare."

"Opo, sure. Where will I meet you po?"

"Music Department, dear. I will be there few minutes after the bell. Thank you, Daisy. You may go."

September na nga pala. May mga future events na kailangan paghandaan. My schedule's gonna be even more hectic. *sigh*

Nothing really happened today. Di ko nalang pinapansin si Kyle and buti naman ganun din siya. He doesn't talk that much and when girls try to talk to him, he gives short answers. Wala, deadma lang. Angas talaga.

*riiiiiiiiiiiinggggg*

Finally, this day is over. As soon as the bell rang, tumayo ako and made my way out then to my locker.

Pagkuha ko ng things ko, I went straight to the Music Dept. to talk to Mrs. Cortez. Buti naman at hindi ako naghintay ng matagal.

"September na. We have some future events coming up and we need to start rehearsing para sa performances niyo."

Niyo?! With the band right?

"Tamang tama ang dating mo, have a sit."

HUH?! 

"Hi Mrs. Cortez, it's good to see you again po."

KY----

"Kyle, where have you been? Nawalan tuloy ako ng performer last year, buti nalang Ms. Forteza was there."

UGH. BAKIT SIYA PA? I was just staring at him shockingly. He looks shocked too but he's showing a poker face.

Kyle's POV

Ay bwisit! Anong ginagawa ng babaeng to dito? 

"Sa Tagaytay po ako nagfreshman. Pasensya na po."

"And why is that?"

"Just felt like it po. Am I back on task, miss?"

Aba at nagsalubong kilay ni babae. Ano na naman bang nagawa ko sa kanya?

"Ang plano ko, maging partners kayo. You will work together kasi I know mas magiging interested ang buong campus since pareho kayong maappeal, si Daisy sa guys and si Kyle sa girls. What do you both think?"

WHAT THE?! MALAS TALAGA. Pero bakit parang gusto kong magdeal? Gusto kong bwisitin siya.

"Pero mi-" No, I won't let her continue, masisira ang plano ko.

"I think that's a good idea po kasi para naman mabalance," sabat ko.

Daisy's POV

Nakakainis, ang angas niya talaga. Pati sa teacher, pasikat siya. Cocky much?!

Pero in fairness, he's polite. Chyeah, sa mga teachers nga lang.

"Exactly, what do you think Daisy?"

WHAT DO I THINK? WALA AS IN NOTHING. I'M SPEECHLESS. GOSH, WHY IS THIS HAPPENING TO ME?

But I knew I had to say something kasi mukha na akong tanga dito.

"I agree.." HA? Ba't yun ang lumabas sa bibig ko?

"Well then wala palang problema. I'm assuming magkakilala kayong dalawa?"

"Opo," sabay namin sinabi.

"Okay, good. So for now, yun lang ang gusto kong idiscuss. Ipapatawag ko kayong dalawa ulit pag naconfirm ko na ang schedules ng events and we will set a regular rehearsal schedule. Is that okay?"

"Yes, miss" sabay na naman kami.

"Well then, you both may go home. Thank you sa time. See you around."

I made my way out kasi ayaw ko siyang makasabay. Iwas gulo. 

"Hoy."

GOSH WHY IS HE CALLING ME?

"Oh?"

"Sungit naman neto. Gusto ko lang sabihin na babait ako sa'yo when we start our task."

What's he saying? I'm so confused and he's laughing?

"Nakakatawa naman yang mukha mo. Hello? May kausap ba ako?"

"What do you want?"

"Woah, chill girl. Di kita papatulan kasi nakakahiya naman kay Mrs. Cortez, mataas ang expectation niya saken kasi friend siya ng parents ko at kung gumawa ako ng kalokohan, I know makakarating yun. Sana makipagteamwork ka saken. Paki bawasan yung pagkamataray mo ng konti."

Ayos ah? Ano to? Pagkatapos niya akong idisrespect, hihingi siya saken ng favor? As I said di naman ako mean and he asked me nicely naman so I agreed.

"Yeah whatever"

"Wag kang magalala, di kita gusto. Walang personalan to."

Psssh. ASA naman siya. I didn't even think of that in the first place.

And he walked away without even thanking me? Di siya talaga gentleman, SMH (shaking my head).
