One day the wood nymphs returned to the base from an outing with a stranger, and Avery didn't learn about it until the world spread through the whole base, because Dryden was away on a mission, and the fae faction was hers to lead

The new comer was the talk of everyone. They said he was pretty battered but still gorgeous and so sweet

Avery reached the common hall expecting the worse, we're talking about unsupervised wood nymphs after all. While not all wood nymphs were bad news, this particular group was full of frivolous, air headed young women

She saw a large congregation in the middle of the hall, but as soon as they noticed her arrival, the crowds split

The stranger did look beat up, and he was gorgeous, just like she heard, but there was something about him she didn't trust, something that didn't seem right

Avery: Aredale..

One of the wood nymphs approached

Avery: Who is he? And why have you come back with him here?

The stranger approached as if to answer but her glare silenced him. Although he didn't look scared, it was clear from his eyes, he opted not to speak

Aredale: His name is Archer. He was running from pure bloods. They would have killed him if they had found him!

Avery: Is that so?

The other wood nymphs nodded emphatically

Avery: Do you know what he is?

The wood nymphs looked at each other sheepishly

Avery's voice hardened: You didn't even bother to check..

They flinched

Natalie: Leave them alone! They were just trying to help someone in need and instead of commending them you scold them?!

Avery leveled her cold stare at Natalie and hissed: This matter doesn't involve you

She turned towards the wood nymphs: Dryden will hear all about this when she returns and will deal with you accordingly. You're sure no one followed you back here, right?

They nodded vigorously

She turned to the new comer: As for you, Archer, until you prove yourself to be of good intentions, I will be watching you, closely, and let's make it clear, I do not trust you, so you better not give me a reason to remove you from this place

He just nodded placidly while there were a few cries of outrage that didn't last when she looked at them again

She turned to leave thinking, they're already leaning towards him. That's not good..
